How to Make A Fancy Teal and White Engagement Cake

- It’s settled. My engagement cake will be teal and white. I love marrying fondant cakes and buttercream cakes together! Here we have the classic, but smaller than average rosettes, created with a 1M piping tip. The marbled fondant top tier, and an embossed middle tier with a circle cutter (cookie cutters to the rescue!) The irony is, as soon as this cake was finished, I found my quilted embossing tool. Even though I tipped my drawers upside down to look for it earlier! When I suddenly don’t need it, there she was. First thing I saw at the top when I opened the draw again.. Yep. I was salty. But I’m glad it happened, or I wouldn’t have had to think on the spot for an alternative- and now we have a new happy accident design that you can try out ;D

Btw u make such amazing cakes so why don't u start taking orders..I mean I don't live in Au but I'll definitely think of moving out if u start taking orders😉..I mean anybody would love to order a cake from u cuz they look so pretty! And u also have a big RUclips fanbase so that I guess would really help u in the start especially..You can also do you tube parallely by filming all the cakes you're making for the client because as it is you don't cut any of them in the video so everything falls perfectly! And even if nobody orders, doesn't matter, u can still create cakes for us.. Sorry for such a long msg though😅 it's just that I'm a curious little fella😂😅

Hard-core vegans would argue that the buttercream isn't vegan because the sugar might have been whitened with bone char. Easygoing vegans (like me) would say, "Ooh, cake! May I have a slice?"

Hi Kelly! yes thats right :) this was vegetable shortening based buttercream, so I replaced the butter with more vegetable shortening to get it super white.
