3:35 "Objection!" Bowser does make less room to DI up, but him having to land in the center gives people more room to DI down and slightly in. That means that the kill window is only slightly sooner on good DI (5% or so) People tend to have a bad misconception on how much the triplat actually affects kills off the top (explains why Mario actually doesn't really like BF and prefers PS2 and SBF instead)
Sillintor, I see you saying “that’s not a 10 mil (character)” and such, but I think you underestimate how cracked people have become at this game and how few casuals are on quickplay. I have my good characters in elite smash, but when I play in the 9-12 Mil range with my not so good characters, I consistently find opponents who are equally skilled to the Elite Smash opponents. That gameplay with the Yoshi/Wolf was lower level than most of my games at that GSP. I think East Coast US where I am is a particularly tough region, so maybe that’s part of it, but I find like maximum 25% trash players at that level, most are not so bad.
I'm a 2D fighting game player that started SSBU recently with Terry and Kazuya and while climbing to 10m GSP I've got stomped super hard by some players from time to time. I think part of this is the playtime of some players that goes up to 3k hours while I barely have 100h.
@@dylanlerian5960 Yeah I hear you man, I felt the same way as a later arrival to smash about 2 years ago. You will make great improvement from fighting all the try hards if you stick with it, and your fundies (and inputs) from fighting games should make your progress faster than most players.
I main mii brawler. I have 2.3 mil gsp, but i can get really good combos. One time i tried link for one game and came across someone with 12 mil gsp. I got them to one stock before losing (i dont play link like at all) that experience made me rethink how skilled i am after less than a year of playing. (Got ultimate in november 2023)
There is almost no correlation between GSP and skill level from like 5-13 million. I know this because I mostly stopped playing online when I started going to tournaments, and then after a year of that, I had gotten way better, but my characters were still all at low GSP and I started trying to get elite smash with every character. I climbed from like 5 mill to elite with about 3/4 of the cast before I decided it was too tedious to try it with the characters I don’t like as much. On the climb, I ran into an Icies player that could do full stage 0-deaths off grab at like 6 mill, and I ran into a cloud that almost never pressed the a-button at like 11-12 mill.
Bro my luigi is at 12 mil and I can't even do the 0 to death combo I just rely on simple hits like down throw into up air and back air or just up b out of shield
if you really did get colorondo8 on spectate it's probably cus you forgot to mention him in the underrated characters video so he decided he'd show up in another video
3:22 ayo fire is "good" against water type pokemon??? We're just letting that slide video? Lol. No no no, water is good against fire, fire is WEAK against water cmon now lmao 😂
Luigi was cracked af ☠️
Bro i swear being under elite smash is more intense than actually being in elite smash
Despite being a Snake noob, that match with Snake against Dark Samus made my brain somewhat hurt.
SNAKE PLAYER REFERENCE!!! HURT!!
Crazy how some non elite matches are more interesting that elite matches so once again gsp doesn't matter indeed
That's because Elite Smashers use cheap and braindead tactics to get to the top. Absolute cancer and the devs did nothing about it.
Cope indeed
Important to remember that we can’t see how bad the match was lagging in the replay, some of this spaghetti probably had a good excuse for it
at 9:05 all I can think of is a manga panel where there's a gorilla is drifting a car, with the passenger saying "This gorilla..... he can do it!"
13:04 here's a reminder that, combos or not, it's still Luigi
Luig main here and I am shook that he didn't know basic Luigi combos but knew to do z drop plunger pressure at ledge. Like. What?! 🤯
@@h2dfives799dude. I'm a Luigi main too. Z drop plunger at ledge is even more basic than bread and butters
The comeback in some of these are just fire ✨🥂🥹
That was very entertaining lol

9:48 Don't celebrate now, there's a whole WORLD we gotta see
This was surprisingly entertaining lol

Thats was pretty funny

seeing sillin's reaction to a bunch of people in ffa just messing up is great.
Good upload, good content
I swear it's easier to win in elite smash than at low GSP
Nah elite is harder
Facts facts facts.
That Luigi was sick but the Dk was hilarious 😂
I found whisky (top robin player) and Mar (Bayo player) on spectate but I don't know if they are the true ones. I want to believe they are
The backpedal is crazy 🤣
3:24 Ummmm no....
5:31 you musnt underestimate the beeg penguin
Paused @ 1:37 to say damn I can't wait to hop on Smash after this video and play my main (Charizard) lmAO
Yo, there were actually some Diamonds in the rough there!
420 views in 21 minutes? Nice
nice vid bro
Ngl
Im a fan of watching mushroom kazuya gameplay..
Our Gambling addiction has been satisfied
These Luigi players keep breaking Sillin's brain! 😆
that was fun
Seeing Colorondo reminded me of my Set against Noodles(the DK from NA) I always got 2 stocks but Mac just loses against good DKs
Bro that shirts sick! Where get?
Duck hunt side b into side b hasn’t been a thing for years
A lot of good players get stuck at low gsp because of connection issues or insane cheese. Luigi at the end is a good example probs.
Some of these kids are gonna be dangerous if they keep up the grind👍

Wait, GSP doesn't matter?
Always has
Are your controls set up differently than default?
Tournaments: broke
Elite Smash: woke
Spectate: bespoke
Colorondo my goat
7:46 how are their win ratios so low yet their gsp is so high?
nice vid

Is it just me or being under elite is more competitive ToT being beaten up by the same villager over and over while high gps is cracked
Ok Somehow I Betted Only 5 time the same with you😂
if you really did get colorondo8 on spectate it's probably cus you forgot to mention him in the underrated characters video so he decided he'd show up in another video
Lml it's funny cause I'm constantly getting in and out of elite smash and it bugs me that regular smash players are better then elite smash players
Luigi was the goat
Day 2 of asking sillin to play lucario

Gsp make people think theyre good.. so i rather fight someone with confidence and then get better practice
