And many people are more interested in taking selfies or photos/videos than in FEELING, CONNECTING, UNITING in this awesome priestly incantation which is more than "just" a blessing.

True. Put down the camera and cover yourself completely in a tallis. You're not even supposed to look at the kohanim while they're doing this. It's too holy. It's unfortunate that this has become a tourist attraction.
