A dramatization of Japan's professional soccer league, the J-League, which was established in 1993, the film depicts the adolescence of the players of the fictional "Tokyo Saints," a team that participates in the satellite league. It was produced with the full cooperation of Verdy Kawasaki (now Tokyo Verdy).
Music is by Keiichi Tomita, now known as Tomita Labo. This song is a beautiful fusion number with synthesizers in unison on the kalimba, giving it a summery feel. It is a Balearic sound of the highest quality.
