A Black hat with three large block letters, F-O-G. Perfect a Foghat. One of the greatest English bands of the 1970's. Their LIVE album is really amazing. "Fool For The City", "I Just Wanna Make Love To You". Enjoy.
I just finished high school when this song came out. Had my whole life ahead of me, tons of friends; there'd be about 30 of us who would out night clubing every weekend: this song definitely fit into that lifestyle. So much great music during that time.
It's 2 guitars of singer/guitarist Lonesome Dave, and lead guitarist the great Rod Price (one of the best ever in Rock). Both passed with Dave in 2000, and Rod in 2005. Their LIVE performances were amazing, and the 1977 FOGHAT LIVE was their best selling album. The song off that album that Rod Price is off the charts is called Honey Hush. Give it a try.
Is their debut album is fire. Although it was there later albums that produced the biggest hits. But trouble trouble is a great one, it got some traction, but I would also say that their cover of Chuck Berry Maybellene, it's off the charts. And it really is the last song on the album, so it ends up with this massive conclusion that is so fun and so impressive.
FOGHAT - " FOOL FOR THE CITY " @ND " TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT " these are Two More Amazing Rockin' Groovy Classics 🎸🎹💯🔥 you'll also enjoy these 2 songs 👍Great sound Grooves
These guys are all over their facebook page with their fans. They'll answer about any question and are all really down to earth people. Their song Third Time Lucky and Fool for the City are two good ones of theirs
This was always the last song at our Jr. high dances about 1977,1978, it was crazy dancing at the end of the song. lol Rockwall Texas, obviously our teachers didn’t know the meaning of the song. We didn’t. It was just a cool song.
OH WOWWWWW SHAWN, YOU'RE DOING IT??? AND YOU'RE DOING THE ORIGINAL VERSION, YEAHHHHH BABY!!! 👍😊THIS WAS THE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHT PARTY BANGERRRR AT PEOPLE'S HOMES 💯I THINK YOU'LL LUVVVVVV THIS ONE MY FRIEND!
Classic track, loved when it was used in the movie “Dazed And Confused”. Putting in another pitch for “Fazon” by Sopwith Camel, spacey/breezy summer track ✌️
Killer slide guitar. Foghat was three members of Savoy Brown, Roger Earl, Tone Stevens, and Lonesome Dave Peverett, plus Rod Price. The guitarist for Savoy, Kim Simmons, kept that band going. I saw SB many years ago. They were as bluesy as you can get and Simmons was (is?) a guitar god. There is a YT video of them doing their "big hit" Tell Mama live. Kim absolutely shreds
Fool For The City, I Just Want To Make Love To You, Stone Blue, Night Shift, Drivin’ Wheel, Honey Hush, Eight Days On The Road, Home In My Hand and many more.
The short version doesn't do the song justice. I've seen other reactors respond to the short version and I considered it a wasted exercise. Got to react to the long version, for obvious reasons.
There is a live version video out there of I wanna make love to you that you should check out. Fog hat was one of the slightly over shadowed but much appreciated bands at the time.
MONTROSE - " SPACE STATION # 5 " @ND " ROCK CANDY " 1973 Original Studio Versions HARD ROCK Fast 🎸 and Furious Heavy Rockin' Guitars & Drums w/Killer Bass Groove You Gotta Discover this Band. Their sound is kinda like Early 80s Metal though these were released in 1973 it's HEAVY! 🎸🔥 REALLY HEAVY! 💯 COOL
Great reaction Shawn. Love that band! All of the previous songs suggested are great. I hope you try something from their 1977 live album. Only six songs It went double platinum. Fool for the City Home In My Hand I Just Want to Make Love to You Road Fever Honey Hush Slow Ride

Great song! I’m not sure where to make a request but could you react to Jack Scott. He was a Canadian/American musician who had quite a few hits in the 50’s and 60’s. He was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2011. Two of his songs I remember are what in the Worlds Come Over You (I think Tom Jones covered this song) and Burning Bridges.
Dude, if you like a good epic, I have a couple of suggestions. First off,the album version of I am the resurrection by The Stone Roses and the album version of Uncertain smile by The The, the last three and a half minutes of the song features the best piano solo ever! I enjoyed this one.
It ain't a car ride they're singing about 😊
It's pretty funny when the reactor realizes what it's actually about. lol
Hahaha 😂. No it’s not
Nope!
My rides are fast & short. I'm working on it
😉😉🤘🏼
Best song Ever played at a Roller Rink 😊
There were two members that camefrom Savoy Brown, "Lonesome" Dave Peverett the singer and Rod Price the lead guitarist.
Without this blaring from car radios in the 70's many of us wouldn't be grandparents now! :-D

the 70's 💥🤯💥
Next up A Fool For the City.
i've been requesting this song for a while now I know he'll like it
Last song in the movie, "Dazed and Confused" which is a must see!
When I hear this song I always think of the outro/ credit roll in the film DAZED AND CONFUSED.
You would probably also love "I Just Want To Make Love To You" from their Live album.
Kudos to you for doing the long version...just KILLER! Thanks man!
their album FOGHAT LIVE is one of the best live albums ever. a lot of their hits at even higher energy than the studio versions.
I may be old but I got to see some of the best bands I got toFoghat in concert numerous times
So glad you did the long version, as the shorter one is just foreplay with no finish!!
Foghat “live” was an epic record. Everyone had it in the 70’s.
I just finished high school when this song came out. Had my whole life ahead of me, tons of friends; there'd be about 30 of us who would out night clubing every weekend: this song definitely fit into that lifestyle. So much great music during that time.

Slow Ride ...the musical equivalent of an ¤rgasm.
Lonesome Dave and a couple, others were all in Savoy Brown in the late sixties
Hellbound Train is a jammer!
The louder the better in your car or bedroom!
Fool For The City has been suggested a bunch in the comments, I hope he picks up on it, he will like it
I Just Wanna Make Love To You, Fool For The City, Stone Blue, Easy Money, are are great hits from Foghat and worth listening to.🔥🤘😎
This classic reminds me a bit of Slade, Edgar Winter, the Sweet and the 70's in general
Just a banger.
I still go the record I purchased in the 70’s
These guys are all over their facebook page with their fans. They'll answer about any question and are all really down to earth people.
Their song Third Time Lucky and Fool for the City are two good ones of theirs
I'm confused
It's supposed to be a slow ride but at the end it's like super crazy fast. What the heck?
Saw them 4 times in late 70’s early 80’s…awesome every time…awesome catalogue to check out…respect…
Saw them in concert in 1977. Excellent band live
Me too and it was my first concert at 15 years old.
Need a cigarette after that.

Fool For The City, I Just Want To Make Love To You, Stone Blue, Night Shift, Drivin’ Wheel, Honey Hush, Eight Days On The Road, Home In My Hand and many more.
I wonder if they ever gigged with the James Gang or Grand Funk

ROCK N ROLL IN THREE CHORDS LOL!!!!! THEY HAVE MANY MORE HITS!!!!!
I don't see how they play so fast it hurts my fingers just hearing it
The short version doesn't do the song justice. I've seen other reactors respond to the short version and I considered it a wasted exercise. Got to react to the long version, for obvious reasons.
Do their Driving Wheel! Great song!
I LOVE FOGHAT! How about the song "Chevrolet"? Give it a listen, I have a feeling you'll love it!
