I've been watching CK for 4 years now and learned everything I needed to know to get started just from his very well done videos. Do it! I just found this guys videos 4 days ago and did it! I had no interest in tinting my headlights and taillights, but then youtube was all like, "dawg, check this G out". The shark fin antenna kicked my ass lol. I did my hood scoop, roof, spoiler and a trunk trim piece with vvivid CF, on my 18' stage 2 WRX. There are imperfections, but fuck does it look good. I'm beyond happy and proud of it. Just do it!

Hi Christian, With this new vinyl it looks like wrapping just got a lot easier. Like you, not crazy about the color but the flip side a color that I might go with others may not like. Excellent video. Oh ! What made that cap so stretchy is they added more rubber resin in the making of the cap. My best, Scott

Im exicted for this new upgraded wrap push that Vvivid has done. Vvivid adhesive backing was surely medium aggressive and not repostionable and slideable like i like with 3m, avery and cheetah wrap. I dont wanna fight with the wrap. I just wanna lay it down smoothly like the pro installer i am. Can't wait to get a install and use vvivid 2020 wrap. Thank you Vvivid for the upgrade and thanks Christian for demoing it.
Have you ever put the 'Nardo" gray next to the Avery Gloss dark gray to see if they are similar in color? I just got a sample of Avery Gloss Dark Gray and it seems way darker than the Nardo in your video.

1) totally agree on this boring color lol. I always wonder who the F pays that money to get car wrapped in such color lol. Seen couple of teslas in this color already, crazy people lol. 2) this line could have easily been present from shipping if the roll was on its side, I had that issue with small amazon rolls of vvivid many many tiumes, dont rush to blame your employees Chris :) 3) also around 11:00 - 11:30 vynil surface looks very bad actually, uneven also. Wondering if this is a part of the defect that you called a "drop line".
Hi, really want to wrap my lr4, is there no way the wind will damage the edges ? What about inside of doors ? Don’t they need to be done so it looks right when opening?
@@stephensansom1492 there are not some many "superstars" in the wrap industry so the few that are like justin pate or other wrap youtubers usually talk about what they get paid to use.
The gloss finish on Inozetek is much nicer but they should have used a stretchable cap to elimate fine scratches when installing. The new Vvivid 2020 is easier to use than Inozetek when it comes to install. Both have their pros and cons.
@@CKWraps I have worked with Vvivid wrap before and had issues with quality I haven't seen in other wrap brands. Maybe you get affiliate marketing kickbacks, but I personally haven't had a good experience with their wrap.
I simply just can NOT understand that people like this color. It's so boring and lifeless that i actually get a little sad every time i see a car in that color. I would gladly take Teslas paint imperfections over this. Or of course have it wrapped in a nice color.
I think there's different variations of vvivid. The one he uses i believe is manufactured in Canada, not China. Think vvivid plus is Canadian and higher quality. I've had good luck with 3m, but Avery Dennison I prefer. I would like to try out Vvivid plus sometime.

Tesla really doesn't have the best paint jobs. They also tend to chip more easily from road debris.

I think 3m works good for Doing chrome deletes due to it being so flexible but other than that ... nope
