You are the best! I just got a Murray 42" with the same aggravating reverse "double back flip on a pommel horse" button and the shut clown street. I love your bypass information. All the best to Sequoia from Murray.
Damn I wish I searched this earlier! For the past several months I’ve had to disengage the blade to shift to reverse and damn I couldn’t stand it! Just did this today (after I mowed my yard and my neighbors) and I am so stoked it works flawless!!
Thank you. FYI, same setup on the Craftsman t2200k. Bonus, if you have a cheap pair of harbor freight 16" needle nose pliers you don't have to remove the dashboard!
On the 54” I just bought, the wiring harnesses are in a completely different orientation. I was hoping it would be this easy, but hopefully there is a video like this for my model haha.
So sorry about that. You know the saying "the BIGGER the BADDER" I didn't even know they made a 54". What type of engine do they have on there? Is it a Craftsman?
You are " The Best " my Friend 👍 First , Thank You a million for Showing and Explaining This 👍 My Sister has an Older Craftsman Riding Mower and It is so much Easier to Use and Go in Reverse and Keep Mowing 🙂 Also , The Design with Her Seat on Her Older Model , Does Not Cut out the engine , Like this T - 100 model Does ? I am really Light Weight and , my T - 100 Is Constantly Cutting Off the Engine , and , It is a Pain in the You know What ! I am so Thankful for your Wonderful Video my Friend ! You made me Very Happy Today and I always Wish You Good Things to come Your Way 🙏🙏🙏🙂 Thanks & Bye & Stay Blessed 😇
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the compliment. I'm a lightweight-er also and was concerned about what would happen on a slant. I truly think this is one of my most helpful video's. Just doing my part.
Such a pain these safety features. Hard on the engine too. I get the purpose, but as someone who uses a lot of “dangerous” equipment, being a safe operator is key to preventing accidents.
That reverse cutting instruction is so helpful, thank you! So if I fell off the lawnmower, and since I'm no longer on the seat, it will automatically shut it self off? I hope so because that would be scary if I had to run after it.
Excellent tips. That reverse module is a nightmare waiting to happen. I also don’t like the throttle switch…you gotta engage the clutch/brake to change speeds? Unneeded wear on that clutch imo. My old Craftsman had a throttle lever straight forward no bull___. I’m gonna work with it. Thanks man.
Start the engine.... turn the key back to the yellow position. Press the triangle. The light will come on. Now, it will mow in reverse..................
Yeah, too many steps, especially if you're holding a beer, steering wheel, and a cigarette, like every other man who is cutting grass on a riding mower.
Just keep.in mind that by removing the safety feature of your machine, you are now off your warranty and you are liable for anyone injured or killed while using this machine! That includes you! The seat shutoff is so you don't cut your feet off when standing next to the machine! Which you will do without any problem! I guess children shouldn't have big boy things!
While I can understand the reasons for having a seat safety switch, it shouldn’t shut the damn engine off when the blades are disengaged! However the reverse mowing is a “safety issue” This crap makes zero sense to me how the hell is this a safety issue? Anyway at least it’s still easy to disable this crap, seems like they are making it harder and harder to disable this kind of crap on everything from washing machines to cars these days. Most stuff no longer has a simple switch anymore you can’t just disconnect or jump the wires, I’ve had to design circuits to fool some of these things into thinking the switch is still present and functional 🤦🏻♂️. As I always say make something idiot proof and god will just invent a bigger idiot!
Best quote of the day "it became mine"😂😂😂
Yes sir, gotta let them know.

Well, thank you very much. Very glad the video was helpful. Sequoia sends her regards.
Thanks 4 the tips...takes all the frustration outta cutting the lawn 😂🎉
Glad to help.
This information worked for me and now my lawn tractor cuts in reverse. Thanks!
No problem Clinton. I'm happy that your happy!

So good to hear. Life should be easier.
Thank You! Thank You! I was way over thinking how to solve this problem. Who knew it could be this simple. You out smarted the engineers!
Thank you very much. I greatly appreciate the compliment.
Yo thanks 🙏🏽 a million, everything you said on here worked like a charm ! I preciate you bro keep up the good work !
Thank you bro. Will do.
Thank you so much for both videos.. that reverse thing was overly complicated!!
No problem, yeah, I though so also. lol.
Thank Q for showing me that ....
I' m on 2 acres

No problem Ms. Christina. So glad I was able to help you! Even youngsters need help, every now and then.
that's awesome! i'll have to check my t210 to see if these apply.
Cool, Let me know.
awesome, really like how you explain the steps
Thank you.
Straightforward and to the point. Thank you! 🤙🏽
No problem.
thanks! i was abou to pull my hair but i saw your vid and brghten my day
I'm so glad! Keep your hair for later.
Thank you. FYI, same setup on the Craftsman t2200k. Bonus, if you have a cheap pair of harbor freight 16" needle nose pliers you don't have to remove the dashboard!
Your welcome. Great tip.

@@kachiskid no worries. Yeah, 54” is a bit overkill for our acreage, but it saves time haha. It’s got a 24 hp Kohler twin cylinder in it.
Very nice!

Well Said!
Wow just figured it out for reverse thanks to you!
My yard is hilly and I need anti tip wheels, any ideas?
No problem. Sorry, I didn't even know anti-tip wheels existed. I have ditches, but use my push mover to cut.
That reverse cutting instruction is so helpful, thank you! So if I fell off the lawnmower, and since I'm no longer on the seat, it will automatically shut it self off? I hope so because that would be scary if I had to run after it.
No problem. Yes with the seat process, if you were to fall off the tractor, it would keep running.
Final Destination.
Lol. Right.
You set the brake again and the mower will still run. Push clutch pedal, yellow switch all the way down, let clutch up, get off the seat.
Thanks man.
No problem, and thank you. Yeah you gotta get on that clutch/brake so, I normally keep the speed on 6 or 7 and use the brake a lot.
I barely touch my clutch brake pedal and I can shift speeds.
@@williamgarey8114 I guess I missed that…will try it later today 👍🏼
informative and to the point. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Like the X-men shirt!! You ready to see Deadpool and Wolverine movie?
Thank you. Can't wait to see it.
Dude. You’re great
I truly appreciate that!
where did you get that...pardon my french
The mower? Came from Lowe's.
For the seat safety, what’s the other fuse for?
I have no clue.
I just got a new T2400 and ofcourse the gas tank is in the way and my hands are to big to reach that wire to disengage safety back up
Whoa...T2400. Nice little powerhouse. Could it be grabbed with some needle nose pliers?
@kachiskid thats exactly what im thinking ill update if it works out
Sounds good. Hopefully does the trick.
I have a T2200 and they placed that switch wiring behind the fuel tank so you can't reach it without removing the tank.
That is the flagship of Craftsman. I'm thinking a lot is different.
@@kachiskid I actually looked at the manual today and key position b disables it so I don't need to do anything but read before I operate.😝
@puffnstuff12 Nice. Yeah, those manuals aren't our enemies. Lol
@@kachiskid Well while I was mowing this morning I tried using key position b and it acts just like a so it doesn't work on my unit.
Darn.
Excellent!!😂
Thank you so much!
👍
We do alright.
I unhook all that mess on all my mowers.
Lol. Yeah, not very helpful for me either. Just makes the cutting process longer.
Haha. Spoken like a true biker.
Yes sir. Biker through and through.

Yup, mentioned in the video. Everything on this channel is at your own risk! Warranties won't cover the type of damage I do.
