Progress,thanks Steve
this bird would make an excellent lure bird
I am the stage of learning a peregrine female to get up :) nice videos
Do you keep it hooded over night?
No. They are hooded only when transporting to, and from the field.
Could you possibly do a video of your pickup setup
I'll include it with my next video.
What is the lime green mute your only indication of France or could you see lesions in her mouth thanks for the update immature birds get that a lot or immunity is not up to par
@@davemyers7507 I talk about it more in the video at 10:20 minutes.
@@davemyers7507Immature falcons are immune compromised the stress of being caught up or training or the whole process of learning their part in the human environment knocks out gut fauna/immunity that would normally keep these illnesses at bay. Older intermewed tamer birds have much more immunity to disease. Feeding a probiotic with immature falcons would probably be a good idea and something I want to start doing.

so are those homing pigeons? or if they're not gobbled up by your bird their just let to get on in the wild?
Yes they are homing pigeons from my loft.
cool :) how many do you keep at a time?@@American_Falconry
@@barnabyandanthonysofficial1497Dave and I share a loft and we have around 75 birds.
that's awesome! I'm assuming the breed on their own? What's the best/worst parts or how does an operation like that contribute to your falconry?@@American_Falconry
@@barnabyandanthonysofficial1497 yes they reproduce on their own quite well. They are indispensable for my falconry.
