Sorry but wooden container box aside, the rest is a totally out of the shelf pc with 2 monitors, no collector's item at all; on the contrary, a REAL electro-mechanical pinball is
Very nice build! I've just started contemplating making my own and this machine is now my standard for excellence. There is a gaming place near me with many good tables and I was happy putting quarters into them, but then COVID happened and a need for home pinball became painfully apparent.
I can't lie it's frickin awesome! Can't wait to see more tables showcased. Plus that glass screen does give it that authentic depth of a real life one. 👌👌👌
That 4:3 backglass monitor makes a huge difference! So many prebuilt machines use a 16:9 monitor, and the the result in many cases is a stretched image. Yours looks amazing. I'm jealous! I wish I could easily buy a prebuilt one like yours...
Never heard of these devices.... but aren't they Fantastic!?. Was a bit into pinball machines when I was small in the 1960s... but this is 'mazing. The concept of the table being a 'window' on a 'table' that is as big as a room sorta freaks me out... but I can see how folks would go crazy on this kinda thing. Thanks a heap for posting the video.
I honestly thought you were teasing a side by side comparison with the Addams Family machine... Very cool. My favorite machine is the Addams Family because it was the same one my dentist had when i was a kid. It was the only reason i didn't stress the experience
Do you have force feedback on your machine? Did you trick it out with LEDs on the back and bottom? I didn't see any on the speakers...Nice machine tho...
Its interesting you used leaf switch buttons. I've got a couple I can use once I finally get to building my cabinet but my vertical pinball table design has gotten me by so far
Your virtual pinball machine is a true thing of beauty.. Heck,, I didn't even want you to load up a table on it, I was so entranced at how you put everything together. I don't suppose you have a parts list and instructions as to how you put it all together?
Imagine with a 3d effect like a very improved 3ds screen. Or how about a physical ball and flippers and in the near future some kind of real movable pop up ramps and targets. It's totally possible.
Hi Wicked gamer... Some Wicked questions from a fellow countryman: I have build a similar cabinet, with quite similar hardware but with all the toys thinkable. Addressable LEDs (matix) will add another level to yours, so consider that. My questions: what sort of glass did you use and did you order it online? Also, I have alot of stutter in the 4k playfield videos in PinupPopper (your frontend). Do you have that as well? Reason for asking is that my backglass and DMD are connected to the onboard graphics card and not to the 1660ti like you have done. Great job overall. Very clean build and love the side art!
Awesome machine, but I would hate having to remove the trim, glass and monitor to access the PC. Why not use all that extra space below the machine and create a side door for access?
Simply Amazing!! Do you have any making off video to this machine ? I've been wanting to build one of these for a long time, but so far the one that caught my attention the most was yours, well organized inside and with a clean look. If you have and can share the assembly scheme and connections, as well as installing the engine on the PC, for me it would be a dream come true !! Once again, congratulations on the magnificent work !
Did u buy it from China or u built it from scratch? The ones selling from ur link, does it have solenoid feedback and tilt feature like the arcade 1 up pinball machine?
I’d love to hear more about how you have windows and the applications setup to get good responsiveness and video performance at 4k. I have a 4K HDR display with an i7 and RTX Titan but have to run it at 1080p to get good performance.
My guess would be Future Pinball.. It's hard to be sure though, since I lost my windows partition (hard drive crash) over 12 years ago, so no more FP or VP.
It's funny how glass on a real pinball machine often creates annoying reflections that can affect the gameplay. On a virtual machine you need that extra layer of real reflections because thats what real pinball looks like and it also creates a layer of depth in the appearance of the video plus it might help to obfuscate the flat video image. I wish Nintendo would redo Metroid Hunter pinball that they had on one of their handhelds many years ago. I enjoyed that more than most other video pinball.
I didn't know you are into pinball! I am too. This build is ambitious and amazing! Well done! I can see this being in your eventual gaming museum! Thanks for the upload.
I came via your review of the LG monitor and good Lord this is amazing. I assume this is a one off custon build, but do you build to order? Can you let tell us how much the total build cost? I'd love one just for The Addams Family, spent WAY too much on that one in the pub in my youth :)
Thats so good. How much was the total build cost? I once bought a custom machine, was too buggy and i had no clue how to fix it... Looks like youve had to do some custom metalwork too with the surround that holds the glass top
For visual pinball there are a lot on tables on vpinball, vpforums, and vpuniverse, and you can find roms on all three if I'm not mistaken. For other programs I would just look up the name of the program and table you want and I'm sure you'll find stuff!
Wicked Gamer & Collector - Can you please tell me where you got the metal top piece for your setup? I am doing a 27" machine and cannot find something like that anywhere. The piece you rest your hands on and frames the monitor. Thank you
I like the glass on the tv, it adds depth and it looks awesome
you should see this thing in person to say that
All the manufactured ones that I have seen lack a plunger. It's a level of authenticity I need. That being said, yours looks sweet.
it's a crazy expensive upgrade is you combine it with the encoder board 😅
Only gives this next lvl of virtual pinball to the gameplay 😄
Head tracking adds massively to Virtual Pinball, it makes the play field look genuinely 3D.
This is a beautiful looking machine!!! You really went out of your way to make this👍
that Pinball Machine looks out of this World.. Genius
I dream of the day I own one of these. Its become my life target. Enjoy,I’m very jealous
Sorry but wooden container box aside, the rest is a totally out of the shelf pc with 2 monitors, no collector's item at all; on the contrary, a REAL electro-mechanical pinball is
I know what you mean,
My man cave won't be complete without a pinball machine
Rewatched for the 5th time. This is a WICKED machine! I am envious.
This looks stunning

Pinball lovers were the original gamers.
Well you would swear you are playing a Old School Pinball Machine.. WOW!
I honestly thought you were teasing a side by side comparison with the Addams Family machine... Very cool.
My favorite machine is the Addams Family because it was the same one my dentist had when i was a kid. It was the only reason i didn't stress the experience
We owned the machine back in the day and play'd it as crazy 😅
I still think The Pinball King produces the best value for virtual pinballs.
This is sick. Sure wish I could see a video of this build.
It looks outstanding you should be proud. Well done
Thanks ! 😄
Do you have force feedback on your machine? Did you trick it out with LEDs on the back and bottom? I didn't see any on the speakers...Nice machine tho...
Good job ! Very impressive, and yeah, it's so beautiful !
Very sweet 4K Pinball. you are awesome man
The Super Mario one has me sold.
Holyshit when you first showed the Adams family table I thought it was a physical table. I didn't catch on until you mentioned it. Thats amazing.
This is freaking awesome . Very nice build
Are you going to try and get head tracking to work ? I've seen some amazing results with it on RUclips
Beautiful job on that PinBall Machine! We have a couple "real" PinBall Machines, but I have to say this looks better!
Its interesting you used leaf switch buttons. I've got a couple I can use once I finally get to building my cabinet but my vertical pinball table design has gotten me by so far

OMG I NEED ONE NOW
Unbelievable! I dont even know what to say. Unreal
this is like something you would get in the Sims at endgame

U gotta mess with the pup packs on pinup popper!!! So dope and makes it 100x better
Awesome machine, but I would hate having to remove the trim, glass and monitor to access the PC. Why not use all that extra space below the machine and create a side door for access?
You can acces the pc by thew backdoor for basic things.
If you need to remove the SSD yeah then it's teardown time 😅
Cool thanks
You did a fantastic job ....I love both real pinball and VP
Thanks, Yeah me to.. only real arcades... damn expensive.. don't have the room 😅

oh my! its amazing! I just hope to at least be able to get one of the small table top models. this thing is a beast! great video!
You can always look into sharpin ?

What about keeping high scores? When machine left on and off? Plus per each different game?
Wow that is so awesome and cool😎
I really liked the Addams family one too... so cool
I grow up with that game... love it ! 😎
someday I want to make a Rocky and Bullwinkle virtual machine with the original cabinet art.
Tu conclusión final es perfecta!
it looks really realistic haha
This is sooo beautiful 😮❤️
Looks good, but you can't beat the feel of the real thing.........................
Yeah... love real pinball.
I can't effort it so play like this 😅
Still Virtual is a lot of fun 👌

Thanks 😅

Great piece of work and amazing good looking pinball machine, great job!

You are using Oled to get real black, make tables looking more real?

It isn´t available to buy in the official web dragonfly amusement. Where is it? Does anyone know?
How do you bump the table? And there is no tilt sensor? How can you play without one of the most important aspects?
Are you selling or can you add a shopping list. Need this badly
Contact the company dragon fly that can help out
I don't think they ship to the USA either. :(

Amazing man!! 👏👏👏
Ever thought about installing some sort of force feedback to emulate the feeling of the ball hitting bumpers and flippers?
Yup.. thinking of getting this one.... www.pinballshop.nl/virtual-pinball/feedback-devices/zebsboards-plug-n-play-shaker-motor-kit/
