The great lesson here is stay calm and keep cleaning up. I always get a bit frazzled and fraught when cooking for a crowd. I’ve never needed to cook for so many - about 20 has been my limit. This was great to watch. I’ve already made three things from the new book - the baby aubergenes stuffed with peanuts, the tandoori paneer and the cumin rice. All delicious! Hope the launch goes/went well.

Wow - did the publisher not send a helper?! Even if you did all the actual cooking, a box packer, kitchen tidier and washer upper would have been pretty welcome, I'd have thought.
All this is fun...however the amount of prep work behind the scene and not to mention the exhaustion
