It rubs off dirt, so they appear better. There are three values for gear: dirt, quality and wear. So, dirt and wear affect visuals, wear and quality affect performance. Quality also correlates with visuals for procedurally generated weapons, but in a different way. Higher quality (i.e. “exceptionally made”) use different parts from lower quality. Generally with more elaborated designs (closer to ceremonial pieces that you’d see in historical museums). I’ve learned it through ancient Cheat Engine thaumaturgy.
Oh, forgot that I was actually leading to the main revelation here: Upgrade orbs don’t actually upgrade much, they just reduce the wear (and dirt iirc), so the item looks cleaner and has slightly better stats. They don’t affect the quality. Brushes just remove the dirt, so it only looks nicer.
The Force... I think it apply same rules as physics rules... if hes standing still, ready with good balance, hitting him in the legs wont throw him off hes feets, but, if unbalanced, walking, on one foot... that should work.

loving the earlier uploads, keep it up also: smaller weapons are better for parrying small weapons, and longer polearms are better for parrying polearms (if you have a small weapon like a shortsword, parrying usually isn't worth it)

Man I was totally not getting it. I did try to go down that tunnel, but it didn't work for me - my character's too damn tall :)) After watching your video I tried it again and crouched through
I wish you had taken the time to ogle the new drawings against the walls of the jails study room. The drawings and diagrams are unworldly and horrifying.
Since its all physics based, knocking enemies depends on their movement. If someone is moving toward you the legs are a good bet (basically a trip) if they arent moving or moving away the head is solid
It seems when you aim from the legs up close you end up shooting straight down rather than through them, so it has minimal knockback. Might need more distance for a more horizontal angle of impact rather than nearly vertical, but makes sense why up close the upper body knocks so well.
With the Thaumaturgy powers make sure that there is a white glow around the power you want to learn. If there is a blue + on the right side of your focus bar it means you aren't learning a new power
I will say Derrin has gotten Dumber with his choice of attacking this update. He has hit me constantly with the enemy not even in front of him. I’d probably say until they correct that about him to not bring him along.

For the powers you have a different tab that only shows the spells bar, by defect is assigned to C. With that you can do the 1 2 3 thing

The maze is slightly changed to make it less annoying, AND ALSO you can use the new kinesis power to straight up skip parts of it.
The maze is changed, its a lot easier now.

dodge > parry > getting stabbed, just like real life.
they need to add a keyring that u can just add the keys 2 and drag the keyring to locks to test all the keys

Do you think the force power deals stamina damage from them falling/you just shooting them with it?
Not sure. I would assume that yes, it does damage them if they fall hard enough or hit some surface hard enough, but that's a guess.
