It’s not her mom but a rescue operation team captain who was sent into the hollow disaster to find survivors. She asked the team to pull up Astra using the ropes that were dangling in the scene earlier. However they only had time to connect her and not themselves. The adults in the audience who are disappearing were the rescue team that helped her. That’s why she’s saying sorry as well, because she has survivor’s guilt. She’s sorry that they died to save her, but that’s also the reason why she wants to sing for people. She wants to provide hope and happiness for others.
Yes her Parents are still alive, at least we know that her Mom is because in a Trust event she mentioned she just recently talked with her Mom when she went Home and that her Mother was a pretty popular Actress apparently in Eridu 🤔
It's easy to forget that ZZZ is a post apocalyptic world and New Eridu is the last city on the planet.

Lore: Hollows are large, black masses of ether that warp and corrupt the world inside them. They produce monsters and can transform both people and machines inside into more monsters.
The term "hollow disaster" can refer to any time a hollow forms as this usually results in a localized apocalypse, but it is commonly used with a "the" to refer to an event years ago (featured in several characters backstories) that ended up wiping most of humanity out when a giant hollow (known as Hollow Zero) appeared. Almost the entire surviving population in the world now lives in New Eridu, the city the game takes place in.
I've watched several of your reactions already and I genuinely think you would enjoy the story of this game a lot! Most of the time the storytelling is bright and silly but there's a very bleak and sad undertone to it which they make sure to remind you of from time to time~
