Cuasimodo in Renca, Chile

For more than 175 years, Catholics in Chile’s Central Valley have gathered on the first Sunday after Easter to accompany the Eucharist in a vibrant horseback cavalcade known as Cuasimodo. Renca is the site of the first documented Cuasimodo. In addition to horses, Renca's Cuasimodo includes bicycles and horse carriages, making for a vibrant urban tradition.
