You are so patient with us! I’m fascinated by the experimentation process, and what will work, what won’t and why. And you’re so funny! Wish all my teachers had been a version of you, while growing up. Now I’m 60, and want to know EVERYTHING! Hee hee....
Yesterday I looked at your first video on this and decided to try to make some flowers with leaves and stems. And here you have this example. I liked the full over-view of answers too. Thank you for the great (no nonsense) videos. I really don't have time to spend on the videos where people spend the first 5 minutes chattering about what they are going to do before they get to what brought me in to look. LOL. Have a great day. Enjoyed this one a lot
MYRIAM, YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL SOUL, YOUR SO LOVELY IN YOUR VIDEOS, CALM AND FUNNY. THOSE QUALITIES AND YOUR KNOWLEDGE ARE A NATURAL HIGH FOR THOSE WHO ARE DOWN...THANK YOU 💞💞 CAMILLE AUSTRALIA.
What a lovely thing to say Camille... That so warmed my heart! I hope that you are not down, but pray that allowing your creative side to play will bring you joy. Thank you for being such a kind viewer... I wish you happy holidays, full of love. 😊💖😘
"I kinda stopped so I could move on with my Life !" , cracked me up. Your humor and easy calm manner make wonderful how to and what if videos ! This video is a terrific tool.
I've been having a blast experimenting along with you. Loving the dendrites so much. I've done a few coasters and just did a big canvas of 'snow flakes' last night for Holiday decor. Thanks, Myriam!!
I loved these tutorials. I can't wait to try them tomorrow. Thank you for sharing. Shopping Tip: I purchase deli sheets, freezer paper, butcher paper, and rubber glove at my local restaurant supply store (Gordon's) for easily half of what they are in stores or on Amazon.
Good evening Myriam. I saw many videos from many artists. You are the best ! So many infos, that we have no excuse for success ! It's always a pleasure to hear you, you are like a wonderful music. Thank you so much Myriam for your patience with newbies. God bless you.
Mind blown!!! Fractals?!? Ty for the intro!! I didn’t know!! Lol! LOVE!! It’s sooooo cool to check in with your channel (when I make time to get my creativity on) and your showing me something NEW!! ALL THE TIME!! You’re the BEST!! 👏🏼 Bravo!!
You sure know how to give a detailed and very informative lesson. I am so much the wiser from watching this video. Thank you for knowing how to thoroughly communicate with and not just direct your audience. Knowing what to do and also what not to do and the results thereof is the grassroots way of teaching/learning. Kudos and thank you immensely. George
I love this one too, especially where you joined the fractals all together. They look like flowers. Did you by any chance try adding the acrylic ink cocktail on top of the wet alcohol ink? The latter would seemingly make a nice background for the former. 🥰
you have such a calm tone of voice....makes one pay close attention , without the irritation sometimes caused by listening to the chatty cathy's discourses . And your techniques are great TOO!!! peace, sass
Hello Miriam, loving your experiments! I don’t have floetrol and tried a 6” tile half the tile I spread a thin layer of elmers glue, the other half I spread a thin layer of modpodge The liquitex black acrylic ink liked the elmers glue didn’t do much on the modpodge. Bombay ink liked elmers glue not so much the modpodge They didn’t spread like yours but still fun to watch!! And a great project! Thankyou!!!
This was a great video, I have all of the products mentioned so all I have to do now because of your sharing, is to play. God bless you and thank you. Leslie in Canada
Thank you very much for that!! I hope you'll get a chance to see the first video if you haven't already... It's more step by step with lots more demos. 😊 I hope you enjoy it : ruclips.net/video/hZy4kGqoJq8/видео.html ❄️💕❄️
I’m so glad Elyssa! This is a fun thing to add to pours too. Someone in group posted a couple of photos I think (??) Thank you for your continued kind support!! 😘😘
thank you so much for giving me this link - your experiment had me hooked - fascinated. BUT, this video has me so inspired to try different shapes and methods of spreading. THANK you with all caps!
Appreciate your posting this. Airbrush ink on wet acrylic paint without Floetrol was a dismal failure. But I like what I did over the failure with acrylics, brushwork and some silver enamel paint from a tiny bottle designed for plastic models ;-)
Another great video demonstration, Myriam! Love the tips about using freezer paper or silicone sheet. Both of which I already have. Didn't even think of making skins with them though I have made skins before. Thanks for sharing your tips.
Thank you for sharing. I love this. The white layer of paint, it looks like you don't need a thick layer of white paint down like you would for acrylic painting, is that right?
I am sooo glad that I found your channel. This has got to be one of the most interesting techniques that I have come across in a while. I am not an artist, just a crafter and I love this. Thank you soo much for answering my questions. I just happen to have some of the acrylic inks in my stash. Gonna have to play with them. Also have freezer paper and acrylic sheets. Boy am I going to have some fun.

Thank you so much for subscribing Patricia! I am delighted that these videos are proving useful to you. I honestly think you can do this type of painting on a 2‘ x 2‘ table and very minimal mess (if any at all! )... so I hope that you are able to have fun doing it! 😊💕
Very pretty! I asked you last time about glass pebbles. I took your advice and cleaned them well with alcohol, and the alcohol inks dried almost immediately after I used them. I will try to make some fractals to put into jewelry trays. I think they would be beautiful. I just ordered a set of nail dotting tools for less than $2, so I'll be able to make really small fractals that will look good in jewelry. Thanks Myriam. You're the best!

Ha ha! Glad you're "moving on with your life", Myriam with a WHY?😁 Thank you so much for your videos they are helping me enormously. I never imagined myself to anything but a complete philistine when it comes to art, but I'm now having a go....
Awesome!! That is the best reason for me to keep making videos. I love that you are letting your inner artist out... She's going to surprise you I'm sure. I wish you endless fun as you create Marie! Thank you for this encouraging comment!! 😊💕

Thank you! I am so glad you have said paint will stick to tile. I keep seeing comments where people say their paint peeled off. I have never experienced that, but I I let my paint cure not just dry on the surface. This was an awesome video!!
Thank YOU Kimberly!!! 😊💕 I can't imagine paint peeling off tile without quite a bit of work. And there are times I WISH it would! I always want to smack my hand when I forget to wipe off a tile after doing a test on it because I know that, since I let the paint dry, I'm in for quite a time trying to get it off. Deby at Acrylic Pouring says at leaving some wet paint on the dry paint will help lift it off... That does work. Tiles make great, quick little canvases. And you're right, letting the paint fully cure is even better... Then it can be sealed to make it even tougher! 😀 Thanks for watching and commenting! 😘
Just a wee bit confused : At the 5:30 mark you state that you thin your paint with Floetrol but at the end of the video you show examples of mixing paint with floetrol and they didn't turn out. What did I miss?
Myriam thank you so much for making this video! As an acrylacrazed Artist I can relate to your wanting your life as well as the art experimentation :-). My mind is bursting with ideas.
I love your video. I do not remember how I found your video, but I am glad that I did. I love your laugh, you really love what you do.I was excited to try the Fractals. I used what I had a home and that did not work. I went to the store and picked up what you said you used. One question I have is when put the white on the title for the background, how thin should I have the layer? Thank you.
Loved your video and wanted to give it a try with supplies on hand. Didn’t have the Liquitex inks you mentioned, so I tried Ranger Distress Ink-it worked very well. Don’t have a photo as I went on to try other inks such as Dye Oxide and the patina ink made for metal, those didn’t work either with this technique. Will try the Golden Fluid Acrylics next. Such a fun technique-xthanks for sharing!
Love your videos Myriam. I watched this video time and again but sadly i dont get fractals or very fuzzy ones. It starts with my inks (Amsterdam) start clumping when i add the drops of alcohol and i cant figure out what im doing wrong. Can you please tell me why this is happening?
I've submerged my dried, acrylic painted tiles in water and after a while (hours to a day) the paint lifts and it is easy to clean off and use again. Thanks again for the great info!

Another excellent informative tutorial. You are the grand professor!
Awww, thank you John!! 😘💕❄️❄️
Hello Miriam, loving your experiments!
I don’t have floetrol and tried a 6” tile half the tile I spread a thin layer of elmers glue, the other half I spread a thin layer of modpodge
The liquitex black acrylic ink liked the elmers glue didn’t do much on the modpodge.
Bombay ink liked elmers glue not so much the modpodge
They didn’t spread like yours but still fun to watch!! And a great project!
Thankyou!!!
Thank you so much! Very informative. Never done dendrites before but I want to make my mom something and this answered some of the questions I had :)
This was a great video, I have all of the products mentioned so all I have to do now because of your sharing, is to play. God bless you and thank you. Leslie in Canada

This is the best info on fractals I've seen to date! Thanks bunches!
Thank you very much for that!! I hope you'll get a chance to see the first video if you haven't already... It's more step by step with lots more demos. 😊 I hope you enjoy it : ruclips.net/video/hZy4kGqoJq8/видео.html ❄️💕❄️

I'm delighted that this was helpful Mary... Thank you for taking time to tell me!! 😊💕
Appreciate your posting this.
Airbrush ink on wet acrylic paint without Floetrol was a dismal failure. But I like what I did over the failure with acrylics, brushwork and some silver enamel paint from a tiny bottle designed for plastic models ;-)
Thanks for all the info.
Amazing, brilliant work and ideas!!!
Great video, Love the red and balck fractals!
😊💕
Very great information. Thank you for sharing.
Another great video demonstration, Myriam! Love the tips about using freezer paper or silicone sheet. Both of which I already have. Didn't even think of making skins with them though I have made skins before. Thanks for sharing your tips.
My pleasure Judy! The silicone sheet in particular releases the paint skin very easily! I hope you have fun trying out your "new" art supplies! 😄💕❄️
Thanks for the video Myriam. Very helpful.
Myriam, it's another winner girl!!! Thanks for the demo and info. Love to hear you giggle and laugh. :-)
Awww, thank you so much Eleanor... That so made me smile!😄
That's awesome to hear… Thank you Joyce... I hope that you have a blast playing with this! 😊💕
You jus answered my question I had for you from another video. You are the best.
So helpful-Thank you!
Hi there!
If you have a ready made acrylic paint pour pack in squeezy bottles, should you still thin it down?
They still seem quite thick coming out of the botyles....pourable, but thick.
Thank you so much for this very exciting new way to create and be creative.
Thank you Myriam for all that you do! I have pendants and want to make fractals to use in them. Its such an organic shape. Squeeeeee! You made my day!
Awesome Dani! That sounds like fun. Thank you for sharing that and for the lovely words! 😘😘❄️❄️❄️💕
Oh Myriam - this is so great - i so thoroughly am enjoying your videos and this one yummmmmmyyy! I am going to go be the little girl now
Absolutely awesome!!!
Thank you ever so much Becca for all your sweet comments!
after I watched your videos about this, I watched a lot of other videos on how they done it & I found out a lot of info on this kind of art
that I just learned how it was done, so I'm GA GA over this kind of art I am doing on CD's with this & I think that would look AWESOME.
thank you SO much for this extra info, you have been a BIG help.
I so subscribed to this channel the last one. These videos are so informative & make me anxious to start (& I told myself NO painting because you can barely move in my living room for paint etc) but this seems like it takes up less space for inks not to mention that I have a whole case of 5x4 tiles I bought on sale...
However, the results were not attractive (the pebbles are some weird glass that doesn't seem to behave the way clear glass does). I was going to give up when I remembered that you added white paint first, so I poured some of my prepared white paint/floetrol mix onto them, then dropped some ink in the paint, and they were so beautiful! I wasn't trying to make fractals, just adding color to them. I've just sealed one to see if my regular sealer will work so I don't have to buy the Kamar Varnish, and I'm hoping it stays on.
After doing those pebbles, and this video, I have so many ideas swirling around in my head. I even remembered that I had some acrylic ink stored away, so I can use that, too. I will try to make some fractals to put into jewelry trays. I think they would be beautiful. I just ordered a set of nail dotting tools for less than $2, so I'll be able to make really small fractals that will look good in jewelry.
Thanks Myriam. You're the best!
I am so excited to hear this! What awesome news!
Sometimes when I buy tiles they look totally, surgically clean but the inks flow weirdly... I've noticed that when I "cleaned" them with alcohol all of a sudden they'd "behave". I'm guessing a super clear coating of something or another is enough to disrupt the inks.
If you put a really really light coat of spray varnish to start, let that dry, and then go in for a better coat you can often get away with using regular sprays.
Great deal on the dotting tools!! (I'm guessing eBay? 😊)
Thank you so much for sharing this Blaiz... It really makes this channel all the more fun to keep up! I wish you huge success with your new ideas and designs! 😘💕❄️💖
I actually ordered the dotting tools from Amazon, from a third party seller. 5 tools so 10 different tips, much smaller than any of the stylus tools I have. It'll be a while until I get them because of that, though. I did do one light coat of Rustoleum 2x on the pebble and I will do another tomorrow. Even that one coat makes it look fabulous!
Wow... I missed that vendor when searching for decent sources for the Amazon supplies "shop" . Finding people not charging twice what they should is always a challenge for that list.
I'm so happy the pebbles are working! 😀
Oh my gosh... I just got my email... Thank you so much Blaiz... The contribution was super sweet of you!! 😘💖💖
It turns out that the seller is in France, so it'll take a couple of weeks to receive the package. They did send it immediately, though. I got an e-mail only a couple of hours after I ordered it that it had been sent.
You are great teacher. I am not and artist but I want to try this.
Thank you Fatemah! I hope that you have lots of fun trying it!
When making the fractals. What kind of white paint do you prep with? Does the white paint have to stay wet for the fractals to work?
Sorry if I missed it, how do you not unintentionally transfer the wet paint to your inks?
Just found your tutorials and very glad. Other videos have no close ups and do not clarify what combinations or products they are using. Your videos are 'thumbs up' all the way. Much appreciation for your hard, tedious and informative work. Thank you : )
Hi! I bought an air puffer! Like the one you showed on a video.
Tiles make great, quick little canvases. And you're right, letting the paint fully cure is even better... Then it can be sealed to make it even tougher! 😀 Thanks for watching and commenting! 😘
Are you touching all the way to the tile when making the stems?
Question answered, thank you
If I do an acrylic pour and I want to add dendrite fractals do I let pour dry or add fractals while wet? Thanks ms. Sherry
FABULOUS technique❤.
Your sense of humor makes it so fun to watch! 🐸🐸
That’s awesome to hear... thank you!! 😊💕
Just a wee bit confused : At the 5:30 mark you state that you thin your paint with Floetrol but at the end of the video you show examples of mixing paint with floetrol and they didn't turn out. What did I miss?
thanks for sharing, I would like to see more.
Thanks. You answered my question perfectly! Now, of course, I’m going to have to run out and buy supplies so I can make these.
I'm so happy Lois... Thank you! I hope you have a blast making these! ❄️😊
Myriam thank you so much for making this video! As an acrylacrazed Artist I can relate to your wanting your life as well as the art experimentation :-). My mind is bursting with ideas.
That is so wonderful to hear! I hope you have fun bringing those ideas to life! Thank you for telling me Tania!
Freezer paper is great for silk scarves as a canvas to work on, simply iron in place on shiny side. Alcohol ink pens and then alcohol spritz.
Your black and red tiles remind me of folklore flowers, beautiful:)
😊💕 Thank you Connie!
Thank you.
Great video Myriam with a Y i put it to the test and it worked absolutely fantastic thank you so much ( no more silicon ) Lots of Love from England xx
What type of white paint do you use for the base paint?
Loved your video and wanted to give it a try with supplies on hand. Didn’t have the Liquitex inks you mentioned, so I tried Ranger Distress Ink-it worked very well. Don’t have a photo as I went on to try other inks such as Dye Oxide and the patina ink made for metal, those didn’t work either with this technique. Will try the Golden Fluid Acrylics next. Such a fun technique-xthanks for sharing!
Just discovered your page Myriam. I love the way you explained details. You are fun to watch!.
Thank you so much!
Hugs from Idaho! 💝🐴🌷☺
Oh thank you so much Carmen... I really appreciate that !! 😊💕
Yay! Beautiful stuff!
Thank you Jennifer! 😘💕
Thank you for this very informative demo.
Love your videos Myriam. I watched this video time and again but sadly i dont get fractals or very fuzzy ones. It starts with my inks (Amsterdam) start clumping when i add the drops of alcohol and i cant figure out what im doing wrong. Can you please tell me why this is happening?
Always look forward to Myriam with a "Y"'s tutorials! Quick simple and very informative! ❤❤❤
Many thanks Pamela... I'm always happy to see YOUR comments 😄!! 💕💖
You are awesome 💛
Blissfully informational!
I've submerged my dried, acrylic painted tiles in water and after a while (hours to a day) the paint lifts and it is easy to clean off and use again. Thanks again for the great info!
Interesting... I would not have thought of that. Thanks Marie! 😊💕
Works every time! I do not gesso the tiles first so don't know if that would make a difference.
This is awesome art. Thank you so much.
Do you have a Amazon list for the small pill cup.
