    Sir Cauchy sequence is always convergent in R .then what is the need of the convergent subsequence

      If any sequence has convergent subsequence then sequence need not be convergent. its only true for cauchy sequence

    agar hum metric space (0,1) or cauchy sequence hum ly 1/n ye cauchy tu hai lekin jis point ko converge kr rahi wo space mai sy ni hai tu ye convergent tu ni hwe

    Sir as u stated a theorem every cauchy sequence is convergent iff it has convergent subsequence..but(-1)^n has a convergent subsequence stiĺl it is not cauchy sequence
