You guys should apply for Big Hit translators 😂😭😭
I second this!
M thinking too that will be awesome
Bighit is hiring for managers for artists position. I wished I could speak Korean to apply for the job.
Yes and maybe suggest them to at least put subs on bangtantv
Yess that would be great
I vote DKDKTV to be BTS's translator for future world tours!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a 51 year old mother of 3. I dragged my daughters to the Chicago Soldier Field concert. We froze our butts off and had the best time of our lives! Glad you could see some international fans!
You have 3 lucky kids ;-;
As RM had said, hope you didn't catch a cold. 😆
Lucky you guys! I N V U
Goodness Day1 was freezing. I was so worried about them. My fingers were actually frozen.
I wish my mom do this to me too
I went Day 2. Despite how wet and frozen my hands and feet were, it was so worth it

I was all emotional then he said that and had me like 😂
Yeah same.. me too
Rm’s stage presence is incredible. He doesn’t have to go over the top. He can just be there standing there, but he has this incredible charisma many people who also know them in person talk about.
diana z honestly :( i was amazed
diana z I totally agree. When I was there, he was just standing there and the crowed went crazy as we as me. The other members have that too but he’s the one that can connect to international fans more but I still love them and him (he’s my bias that’s why)
agreed!
I can only say I love you for this.
Took my boyfriend with me to the MetLife one and he isnt into them and he was like " I'm not even a fan but that was one of the coolest and best concerts I've ever been to" and he actually enjoyed the music.
UPDATE:He's coming again and can't wait 😂
Jessica G omg everyone who takes a non fan says they ended up enjoying it
wow that is interested to hear!!
@@maalikaci kinda hard not to that concert was amazing. He's a really big hip hop and rap type of guy so he enjoyed the rappers a lot and also the choreography
lol same.. my husband always makes fun of me for liking bts.. then he went with me to the concert yesterday, and been singing their songs and fan chants all the way 7hrs driving home..
Mal ci damn I want a boyfriend like that even tho my ex gave me a bunch of BTS stuff he even gave me a jimin poster FOR OUR ANNIVERSARY
XD I died when around 18:55 I heard, "NAMJOON FOR PRESIDENT"
Lol I was also screaming this during namjoons speech but I wasn't anywhere near dkdktv
I'm a 72 year old BTS fan living in senior housing in Seattle. I wish I had tried to get a ticket for LA, but I'm a bit too old at the thought of sitting near screaming fans. I enjoyed listening to your experience at the Rose Bowl and now I wouldn't hesitate to go if I could manage to get a ticket - almost impossible. I like your laid back style and intelligent commentary. I just subscribed and will become a channel member as well. Your description of the make-up of the audience reminds me of the Bruno Mars concerts I've attended. Thank you!!
No..you are NOT to old! I’m 60. I LOVE them. I have seen them 3 times, going to both concerts in LA this year, was at both last year. They added a concert in LA on the 5th...lots of tickets still available in Dallas on Mother’s Day. Drag a friend and go..it is an experience you will never forget. If you need handicap seats, they are the best...no kidding. Nobody in front of you! Remember, all the screaming is being done by other 50, 60 and 70+ fans. And it’s so different than other concerts I have been too....ARMY are a different breed...they are helpful, kind and wonderful to be around. It’s not just a concert, but an experience of a movement to a kinder, gentler world. Just go...you will NEVER regret it...don’t regret not going!
I am 70 this summer and I will definitely try to get tickets for a European concert.
Go next time you can! I'm 32 but I'm going to try to go if the concerts are rescheduled and I'll be wearing ear plugs. :D
HadassaMoon144 if it is rescheduled, those that have tickets will be able to use them. If they cancel, and existing ticket holders get their money back, then new tickets will be sold. I believe Europe maybe scrapped, and those dates will be used for the US. It, they will only do shows in Korea and they will be broadcast in a movie theater and on Weverse and VLive!
ive seen a lot of people bring earplugs, you should try it! 🥺🥺🤍🤍🤍
I am 65 years old 할머니.
My daughter and granddaughter went to Rose Bowl concert from Missouri🤗. I had to get a week off from my work for that. I am glad I did.
NANA Lee I’m going to be 69. Eek! Anyway, I’m a huge fan (#ArmyWalker). My daughter and I are deciding whether we will be trampled, smashed, lose our hearing, etc. if we go to next Ca. concert. I would love to see them in person but worried about the physical aspects.
It is so nice to read your post. I am 51 years old and going to my first BTS concert this year in Dallas, Tx. Where I live, I do not hear of Army my age. I enjoy their music and performance so much but no one to share it with. This is refreshing to know how diverse the fan age group is. Thank you for sharing.
I'm 63 and a stand-in-line-all-day "pit gal" for BigBang and BTS. BTS is too big to stand in a pit line for now (no standing at stadiums), but I'd do it in a heartbeat. Love those guys, love their message.

RMs speech made me cry too T_T He always speaks so beautifully and from the heart. David and Danny are right; I wish the other members would do more of the same in Korean. I hope they get more comfortable to speak themselves as the tour goes on.
I don’t think it’s just language. I think namjoon is just better at expressing his thoughts than the other members.
Aymé Julián i didn’t mean to imply that the other members are less than because they’re not as good at expressing themselves just so we’re clear.

BTS is a group I discoverd in 2015 when I was editing Korean to English subtitles for Inkigayon on Viki. I was captivated by them and kept telling my VIP friends (BigBang are my first loves) that they were going to be the next big thing, but nobody believed me. In 2017 I went to their concert in Anaheim alone since nobody would go with me, and at that time they had a low budget-big curtain and two tiny screens, smoke and confetti, some live accompaniment-but the concert was fantastic! I was at the same concert that you guys were at in Pasadena in 2019, and it was so much fun to see how they had leapt forward in two years to a Beyonce level concert experience. BTS is an historic phenomenon, and the messages they share have the potential to help unite people all over the world in a positive way.
thank you for believing in them at an early stage

@@kaverik8084 Same just when i was about to get bored of Kpop,BTS came out in 2013,and i was whipped ever since,it's really really hard to get bored with them,it's impossible.
Lately I watch a lot of k-dramas and I want to extend my thanks to for the English subtitles on Viki. It allows me to enjoy many great Korean movies and TV series.
that's why joon (RM) is enormously popular internationally cuz he is so open to us and we feel more attached to him. he knows what to say and when to say it. he is such a wonderful speaker. not only his speeches but his tweets, FC posts ...etc.
Edit: I just wanna say this video is from the first la concert. Afterwards, the other members did try to communicate more with us.
Am still not over jimin tweeting not to catch a cold and were warm clothes ㅠㅠ
So true, if it hadn't been for RM I would still have not known these wonderful men! And still be stereotypical of them, he is the one who made me want to delve deep into them💜 and therefore RM will always be special
But sadly kpop fans still shit on him and hobi for being ugly.....like what da fuck..they r most beautiful mens ever

He's now a fan, is listening to their music, and can't wait for the next concert. Such a diverse crowd and such a fun event. This was fun to see from your perspective!

But Tae was so sexy

Omg.. I had missed it.. thanks a lot for pointing it out..
I know this is super late but I want to say I am 52. I have attended 3 BTS concerts with my 20 yr. Old daughter and 23 yr. Old son. BTS is by far the best concerts I have ever attended and I myself have been ARMY for several years. The diversity is not a surprise to me. In America, fans are fans. You can be a fan of any artist of any demographic. The energy of the night is nothing like I have experienced. Its addictive and beautiful.
BTS has brought Korean culture directly to our home. My daughter spent a semester at university in South Korea last fall and we are planning a family trip next summer. We have invited a Korean friend of my daughter's who is attending school at my daughter's US university to live with us. She has become my bonus daughter. She spent the Spring semester in our home and is returning in 6 weeks to spend all next year with us.
The world is getting smaller and their are many people interested in other cultures. It has been a blessing to experience and BTS did that for a small family, in a small town in south central PA.
Wow so lucky you. God bless you.
My Lord, I got teary reading this. God bless you and you're amazing. 💜
Its funny because they say you go into a bts concert with a bias and come out with another bias. But man , i was a namjoon bias and came out more namjoon bias.
I went in taegi biased and now im sope biased 0,0
I went Jimin bias ended up in OT7
But still Jimin&Jungkook Are My bias and I'm an OT7🙈😻
Now I’m scared what if I go in tae biased and come out jimin biased 🥴
@@blckbun I was a Tae bias for like 4 years... first concert and I got out as a Jimin bias... No going back now XD

I saw them in Chicago last weekend. *ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE.* AND they performed in the rain.
Enlightened Sista yesss girl, I was there too and it was an unforgettable experience! 💜💜
Enlightened Sista I was in Chicago too. Awesome time!
Just got out of the show at MetLife stadium!
I was wondering how the concert went since I heard it rained for the Chicago concert. I see concerts like at Rose Bowl were so awesome with the pyrotechnics and the fire works. Were all these displayed at the Chicago concert too despite the rain? I don't know how such things work in the rain. Glad you had good time.
Also went to Chicago and saw both shows. Im still so emotional and sad it is over. 😭
Hey, I was there at the Rose Bowl! I am a mid 50's Korean 아줌마 and I am a big fan of BTS. I am soooooo proud of them. I was so shocked by the diversity too. I love watching your reaction and explanation behind their MV's. By the way, I am a subscriber to your channel. Keep up the good work!

I was there and I can say this: Best concert EVER!!!
I think the fact that we get so emotional is that they are able to make us feel connected with them in a more personal level. I mean there are so many artists can have the same production but they are special. It's crazy!
I find bts trying to speak english so cute and endearing. They try so hard just to say a few sentences, I appreciate it a lot. Taehyung is so cute when he speaks english specially ☺️ I went to the Chicago show in the rain, it was amazing, feels like a beautiful dream 💜

Totally agree on the end aspects of bts having better translators or wanting to express more but bcs of language barrier they cannot, i hope BIGHIT can work better on those small details for bts but overall I went to the LY concert for the first time & i will never forget that wonderful experience of seeing my favorite artists ever & hope to see them again soon :’))
This is a pretty common problem at kpop concerts with translators not translating quite correctly. I really don't know how promoters find their translators.
wait, are you saying RM is not a good translator?
Holsety Sinclair No as in Bighit hiring better translators for the whole group - we can’t expect RM to translate all the time
I went to their concert in Amsterdam and the translator there was completely twisting their words. Saying things the members hadn't actually said, at all!Even, I could have done a better job translating.
@@holsetysinclair3856 No, she's not saying that. Did you even watch the video until the end...? Namjoon doesnt translate at their concerts, they have separate translators who translate to the local language when they speak Korean.

I wholeheartedly agree with you about the diversity. When I first started liking BTS, I was a bit scared of how I would look as a mid-40's black woman but meeting ARMY I realized that it's a very diverse group of fans! I love it. BTS is truly connecting people.

“Go to a BTS concert”
If only it were that simple 🥺
Sis I feel u :')
I feel you 😭😭😭😭😭
RM speech was so touching 😢😢😢😢
I went to the first night in Soldier Field and our concert was very different just cause it was freezing cold. I have never seen so many people equally having the best time of their lives and being completely miserable. Most of the boys speeches were about how cold it was. However the cold just really made everyone let go. We all stopped caring what people thought of us and it so perfectly fit the theme of the whole concert. I really noticed the connection of everyone there in these moments. The best part was people were dancing and singing along in this weather. One girl took her coat off. Mind you it was a wind chill of about 20 degrees Fahrenheit. You could tell everyone involved was worried about how this would go cause it was also pouring rain about an hour before. Namjoon even said the boys were panicking during rehearsals. Even though everything wasn't even close to perfect somehow I think we all wouldn't have traded it. Namjoon said "It might be bad weather, we might catch a cold, but It's special right" We made the best out of the situation.
Ps. The top had a pretty good view of backstage so anytime someone walked about the whole top would scream even though it wasn't them and then when it was actually them no one notices. There were also people standing in one of the special room tickets spots and everyone thought it was them waving but then we decided it wasn't but when we got home TXT had tweeted that they were there so...
Iliketoread I was at Soldier Field too. My toes and hands were numb. Lol but I didn’t care cause the concert was so awesome! I felt sorry for the boys!
I was there that day too at the "first BTS winter concert" as Namjoon put it lol! It was definitely special, not only because TXT was there, or that it was the first show in Chicago, or that the weather was crappy, but also that we didn't let the circumstances affect our joy or excitement for the concert. And yes, I completely agree with you! It was freezing and we were miserable, but the music and the energy in the stadium made us forget about the weather and just let loose and have fun! I think BTS saw us making the best of it, and still genuinely enjoying ourselves and I feel like they kinda realized, and maybe for the first time how much we would put ourselves through just to support them. Standing out in the rain and the freezing cold for hours instead of just leaving I think meant a lot to them. Even though it wasn't perfect, it was still perfect in it's own way, ya know? Even though the stadium was cold, the atmoshpere was so warm! I went with my 3 friends, and leaving we all said the same thing, that it was the best night of our lives! And it was cool to see the guys just having fun on stage and letting loose a bit more than usual, just cause we were all miserable and cold together, yet still having the time of our lives! No regrets!
I was at both nights of soldier field. It was great...but cold....and the second night was wet....LOL
When they were singing Not Today, "together we won't die" in the freezing rain- I felt that!
I was in Bangkok Day 2 and it rained in the middle of the concert.. and everyone taking out their umbrellas.. and I thought that will spoil the mood.. fortunately the rain stopped and none of the boys slipped or fell
Sees closeup of Namjoon... Drops Phone Immediately out of excitement. Listens to what he’s actually saying.... Drops it Again!! 😍💜

thank u for your beautiful words.
When you said BTS is Korean pride.. So trueeee
@Ilham .abdil BTS is one of the Korean pride... Agree?? 😉 I noticed people will salty if i just say BTS... BTS never uncredit others😊
@Ilham .abdil i understand where u r coming from and i respect that but looking at global level, bts is once in a lifetime asset of south korea
@Ilham .abdil actually even korean said that bts is korean pride
Ilham .abdil they're in different side. Globally = BTS, nationally = yjs. Korean pride more like globally. Yjs is popular in korea but not outside. Even in asia he's not that popular, just among k-fandom and running man fans.
BTS is singer, yoo jaesuk is mc. So they've their own title. Can't compare them.
But i do agree that yoo jaesuk will always be in korean heart ofc.
@Ilham .abdil my english is really bad seriously lol 😂
Idk. Next year seokjin will enlist (maybe) and then yoongi. Nothing last forever but i hope they will always be happy whatever will happen.
I am definitely with what Danny and David said they should let RM translate what the members said
seokjin epiphany was the best moment for me, especially triple high notes
I thought the concert was incredible both nights. Also, though I don’t know Korean I knew there were many details left out during translation but tbh that didn’t matter. I could see and hear the genuine emotion behind their words. I legitimately SOBBED both nights at Rose bowl during their ending speeches. It was the best concert experience of my life and afterward I literally wanted to follow them wherever they went.

At 19:35 when I was at the concert, I was screaming so loud for him and giving my all and then when I heard ARMYs chanting his name, it gave me chills and I did the same thing and then when he was getting emotional, I started crying because this is what he deserves as well as the others. He’s my bias so I was so proud of ARMY cheering for him :’)

19:20 if u listen hard enough u can hear me crying all the way in the bleachers 😂 no but srsly when he said we were their “most beautiful moment in life” my ass flipped and I started bawling. I was barely holding it together up until he said that. I first found them through that album in 2015 and they literally got me through my senior year of high school. So many times I’ve sat in my living room in the dark thinking about running a warm bath locking the door and end it all but, instead, I put on their videos. I watched their smiling faces. There was a couple in their late 40s. New all songs. Next to me a guy in his 30s by himself. Real cool.
god namjoon made me cry countless times with his sincerity, i hope i can see that love in person some day
In my humble opinion this is one of the best reaction to BTS concert. One day I will experience the same amount of happiness
I had goosebumps when I heard that crowd sing along in korean (and I'm not korean) with Jin.Thanks for sharing this. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 it's amazing to see armies united like that, it's like being with a group of friends with the same interest. RM's speech was heartwarming. I love how grateful they are to Army. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 I just found your channel recently through Ramen and chill and I really love and appreciate your content. ❤
it’s been 2 months (?) since i went to both days at rose bowl and i STILL cry whenever i see videos from those days especially the second day namjoon’s speech was so emotional and the way jimin cried at the end i still haven’t forgot how much i cried that day lol post concert depression hits HARD when u stan bts

Aye just got back from metlife day 2. My heart is so full. They just gave me so much positive energy man. 😭
*i saw BTS on GMA (closest ive eve been ever!) and Saturday at MetLife 😭😭💜 forever grateful*
I have to go again i was so emotional that i don’t remember the half of the concert. To me the more precious moment was Epiphany, i was sobbing.... I fly alone from Panamá to LA just to go to that concert and it was worthy. You guy helps us to understand bts more so im thankful to you too. You help them to speak themselves more.. Jin said we are a family so maybe all of us has a little work to bullied the wings of BTS. 🇵🇦
I wish namjoon watched this video and give your message of expressing themselves in korean to other boys..😄😄
I was at Rose Bowl Day 1 and even now I can't believe it actually happened :') The crowd was great and despite how crazy it got, it was the safest I've ever felt at a public event! So proud to be part of the ARMY family and so happy to be loved by BTS 😭💜
RM is my bias Hobi is the wrecker Jimins vocals are my favourite not that anyone asked
Don't forget to encourage other members as well :) 💜
Yah...
I think no matter what, their sincerity is always conveyed with their ending ments. Also when they speak in English it shows their efforts in wanting to connect more directly with ARMY there. The members always have other ways of speaking themselves through their lyrics, social media, fancafe & vlives. I understand your point at the end, but I think they're doing enough.
So glad you guys had a great time in L.A.! 💜
I agree they try their hardest all the time and I kno that they struggle to speak English except for RM but even tho they struggle they still try to convey their thoughts in English even if it’s short 💜
The commentary during tae’s solo was killing meeeeee
Honestly yes about the diversity. I went to day one for the chicago show and there were SO many different types of people. There was a middle aged man in front of me with an army bomb wearing a BTS hoodie, he was hyping up the crowd to start the wave. It was a really comfortable space to be especially since I attended the concert completely alone. It’s so crazy that their impact is so powerful they had 60k people chanting in korean. I was showing my parents the video I took of mic drop and other songs and they were like, “is that you screaming in korean?” yes, and I was very excited! The chants were sooo crazy and it was such an amazing experience
I am 61 years old and in my senior years, this boys have given me so much love and happiness that I will treasure till I die, I am a grandma ARMY and proud of it
@dkdktv Kpop fans are definetly diverse and all ages. I'm 31 years old. from chicago. I enjoy me some kpop. not huge where i get the posters and all but i actually buy albums. ALSO my dad is 51. and he plays kpop randomly when cleaning. .... thanks to me lol
I'M LOVING EXPERIENCING THIS! Because my concert is in a week so I need to understand how things work! Thank you
Pay attention to the venue rules. Arrive early. Ask for help if you need it. Have patience leaving the venue. Stay safe and have fun!
Are you from Brazil?!!!
@@heyyou2720 Thank you!
@@valarce9305 I'm attending the concerts in Sao Paulo, yes.
Minguk Films I went to Chicago. We drove 80 miles.google maps estimated our trip, but remember there will be a traffic jam close to the venue,so add 30 more minutes at least to what the phone is saying when you start out.Go online, get the venue rules and measurements of the bags that you can bring.we had a clear bag policy and there was a garbage bag full of purses and water bottles outside the entrance.Give yourself at least one hour to get into the building, use the restroom, and find your seat.I was there 1 1/2 hours before concert start time..the 17 minutes I waited in my seat ..my excitement grew ,I looked around at the magnitude of it all and I had to hold back my tears.Bring portable charger for your phone. If you want a t shirt, you can get one after the show if your not picky at what’s left.Thats what I did.If you want the good stuff, you will have to make a trip for merch the day before or the early morning off your concert day.Get in line 2 hours before they open.Take your goods to your car or hotel, and then return to the venue.Sometimes the venue won’t let you bring some of what you just bought into the venue. In Chicago If I would have bought the (round pictures of their heads on a wooded stick)that you hold up of your bias...they were not aloud inside.Since I got dropped off...I would have had to throw it out...be careful..read the rules...I know that you will have fun...I was alone and it didn’t matter because I felt love all around me!💜
After watching this I am more determined than ever to go to a Kpop concert. The unity of fans is just beautiful. Thanks Danny and David.
But i can assure you no one can do it like bts 😉
I'm 69 senior citizen who love the seven boys forever make my life happy everyday watching thier videos so many times and always enjoying it. Thank you for sharing this even I'm a late watched you did a great work. Stay safe and healthy.watching from Philippines.❤️💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
20:15 David and Danny have a right to be proud of BTS and all they have accomplished. Take it all in. What a moment and for you to have traveled to see it for yourself...it's beyond words. I'm so happy that you guys got to see and experience the love that the international fans have for BTS.
OMG!!! Thank You for this Dkdk
😭 Feels like I'm there also.
This is a great great Vlog!!! I cried too at Namjoon's speech and Mikrokosmos! I'm from an unknown country and vlogs from concerts is my remedy.
I appreciate you guys so much, I am 60years old woman who came here when I was 14, and bts fan from the start, and they are the only Kpop I listen to, you have so much knowledge in English and Korean culture, it amazes me, even though I want to say what it is in my mind, I can't explain in English and Korean better than you guys, and I think nobody can do better than you. thank you, I wish karmy or iarmy both know you guys doing such excellent job.
RM is really a good leader that's why his team BTS is a good and talented team. trust me RM i will vote for you one day to be president..
Danny and David's "OH MY GOD" to Taehyung's VCR and Solo stage and their commentary on Tae's solo was a big fat mood. I feel you brothers, I feel you.
"I want that video on HD."
