Speaking of ice, I was scraping ice from my car windshield this morning ... and you still made me longing for a frozen strawberry daiquiri. Thanks for excellent video. Shoutout to whole team, you know your stuff, it all blends (no pun) together smoothly. One doesn't think about cutting or footage or structure, the viewing just flows through.
Haha look, I actually filmed this a while back when it was cold here so there was some summer content for you guys so works both ways 😜. Thank you for the kind words!
I love strawberries!!! And yes, You know, I LOVE RUM!!! Great video!!! Yes, I will definitely get a bigger glass!!! Josh, just keep at it, plus that's Cara that's making it, Thanks Ms Cara, Great video!!! Strawberry is my favorite one, well, plus the RUM!!! Ms Cara, lovely as usual. Maybe some more rum videos? Hmmm, Love from East Tennessee , USA
I stock up on plastic straws wherever I can find them! Paper straws Suck. Thanks for the recipe, Cara! It's so darn cold here. I may have to put mine in the micro and heat it. Lol. 🍹
I second glass, the ones I’m using here are from Surfside Sips who sent me some and they’re honestly really nice to drink out of and don’t get too cold for frozen drinks like metal ones do haha!
I like frozen drinks, but I refer to them as “traitors” because, as you showed here, the extreme cold dulls the taste buds, and it’s easier to have a bit too much than when having normal drinks. With normal drinks, even cold ones that are just on the rocks, there’s a boozy kick in the taste that gives you an idea of how much alcohol you’re taking in. With frozen drinks, I tend to be aware of it only when I stand up and find myself mysteriously unsteady 😀
@Behind the Bar Sorry for the misunderstanding. What I mean is ... how about leaving out the ice cubes, and just adding more frozen strawberries instead?
Totally fair, that can definitely happen! This video on the science of it might help with the texture problem: ruclips.net/video/PJdaTXOT1RA/видео.html
Me: Summer drinks? It's Novem ... oh, yeah ... Southern Hemisphere. 🙃😂
Try not to think of it as a summer drink, if your inside for the night and you're warm inside, cheers!!!
Haha yeah I filmed this a while ago when it was cold here so works both ways!
@@BehindtheBar starting to warm up there now though, right? Jealous 😒😂
Had exactly the same take.

Great video. I love that you also give the story of the drink in a way that doesn't tire. Very good specs. Keep up the good work!
She does know her stuff!!!
Thanks Dio!

I rarely, if ever, use ice when I make my strawberry daquiri's since I use a large amount of frozen strawberries.
My waitress favorite soft drink!
It's sumner down under. I'm-a-coming.

Would you ever make it with frozen strawberries instead of ice?
I would, in fact I did haha
@Behind the Bar Sorry for the misunderstanding. What I mean is ... how about leaving out the ice cubes, and just adding more frozen strawberries instead?
Not a fan of frozen drinks. I have tried it twice and both the times i felt I was eating ice-chips(different bars).
Now, you can make it yourself and figure out how you like it best, make it your own, cheers!!!
