SAYAW BEACH|Family Bonding in one of Beautiful Beach in Sayaw Barili Cebu

This is my home town Barangay Sayaw, Barili Municipality, Cebu, Philippines, Sayaw Beach Resort is one of the beautiful beach in the Province of Cebu has to offer.
The name Sayaw is actually transliteration for both “swallow” bird and the noun/verb for DANCE in Cebuano or Bisayan language. It seems that the locals in the past named this barangay according to the bird species (Sayaw sa Bisaya, or Swallow in English, ‘Hirundinidae’ bird family) which are quite numerous in this place. According to my late grandfather, SAYAW name was also taken during Spanish time, where after the battle they will rest at this beach and celebrate and they dance after winning the battle, that is why is also called SAYAW.
It only take 2-3 hours through any transport, which is around 60 plus kilometers from Cebu City. You can ride a bus to get to Sayaw Beach or private vehicle or V-Hire.
