Reguarding the very rare German Sniper Rifle with scope. In the book Sniper on the Eastern Front by Sepp Allerberger he states he carried a submachine gun along with his sniper rifle. This way he had more fire power if necessary but also so he could discard the rifle and hide his sniper occupation prior to being captured. Meaning - this rifle is in such good shape it may have been intentionally discarded to protect the sniper's identity and keep it from falling into Soviet hands. Good show - a magnificent find!
Joseph Bingham that book is a great read.
I think your right
Switching to secondary is allways faster then reloading
@@BadMuflon finally I found comment like this
That kar 98 is in amazing condition for how long its been buried thats a insane find wow Congrats 👏
This MP40 seems like it could be functional, after a cleaning and adding some lub, if the barrel isn't damaged. 8:17
LOVE the beginning of the video w the soldiers eyes glowing like ghosts and that sudden cool noise.
I'd love to see these guys collection they must have.
Panzer II turret at 12:33 is a real treasure, it has the same 3,7 cm gun as the early Panzer III´s. Never seen that configuration before.
PANZER IV turret
What happens to the equipment and personnel belongings you find? Do you sell it or alert the authorities especially when you find explosives? I have heard there is quite a market on selling it.
Well done on the finds enjoying the videos
How do you handle all the unexploded munitions you come across on your digs?
Those grenades and bomb are still explosives?
Lots of things that go ¡¡BANG!!....music is great too!
You should definitely do work on that kar 98k I'm pretty sure you could get that thing working again it doesn't look too bad rusted from the thumbnail
Not allowed to do that in European countries.

Mauser rifle at 13:29 in the box appears to be a Czech VZ 24...these were often used by the Waffen SS because of a shortage of K98Ks that were sent to the Wehrmacht first.
Wow that 98k sniper might still be able to shoot, I hope it doesn't have to be destroy due to laws.
Long as the bolt moves, it'll shoot. Most likely scrapped though :(
@@jacobnewcombe5367 just cause the bolts means does not mean it will shoot there could be corrosion in the barrel and that makes it unsafe if there are burs in there.
@@squirrelhunter1300 iv fixed guns that were so much worse than that 98k
That is cool things you found out the World War I
Wow! Very nice finds 😮😮😮...My friends and I also research WW2 relics in Italy but in our place we mostly find large holes containing USA army objects, unfortunately we find very few German things, it seems that the German army was not very well supplied here. You can watch the videos on our channel. Greetings from Tuscany, Italy
What a beautiful kar98k ;)
Schon interessant, was die Jungs da machen.
How did you know the location of these things
Sniper gun ? It's cool
What is the last song of this clip?
Thank you.

The best rifle in the world⭐️

What is melody 8/40?
Muy buen video, esos artículos están a la venta?????
I love kar 98k and mosin nagant and garand
Helmnya bagus , bisa gk buat blapan
What a surprise to see a British Sten machine gun!
Where? Saw a mp40 and ppsh41 didn't see any sten
9:40 Is that a PZ 1 tankette in the barn?
Looks like a Sd.Kfz. 11 halftrack with the front end blown off.
Amazing
The panzer in the lake omg
I wonder whats its wisdom!
I love your videos I’m going to do this when I go to Germany and Poland your a inspiration 👊🏻
my grandpa is somewhere in these forests shame on you
Cainspace I hope they find him if not I can find you another one just tell me what colour size age etc..🤭
They were looking in Russia and Ukraine in poland and Germany everything is penetrated and nothing is left
Luar biasa itu kalau di Indonesia bakal di kilo ini tuh😃
This K98's have parts in good enough condition to make a few that will still shoot. Helmets are in horrible state, looks like many soldiers were hit in them by many shrapnel. Can't really say, if anyone knows please let me know why top of helmets are badly cracked or shoot through..
Thank You for Texas!
👍
I really like the way your videos and photos are presented, your THUMBNAIL is the best. The k98 with scope is spooky, how many lives has it taken , of course it was just a tool for a soldier. Many thanks for your hard work.👍👍👍
Can they still fire these weapons?
Some of em a big maybe with a lot of work
Could rusty bullets be loaded into a non corroded gun?
probably could would it be safe nope so probably shouldn't
How many unseen things are in muds, plains, hils, forests of russia?
Вав Круто у вас есть мп 40 сколько стоит
I know the explosives are inactive after 80 or so years exposed to the elements, but I'd just be quezy handling them barehanded. If I were a trained EOD person, maybe.
Not necessarily ,many of those grenades, mortar rounds and anti tank rockets look intact and some of the high explosives used can actually become less stable and more sensitive.I'd like to know how they dispose of them.
2:50 German S-mine, called "Bouncing Betty". I would definitely not touch that.
Что за мелодия на 8 мин. 40 сек?
Do you ever sell items?
What do you even do with all those Guns???
12:33 what song is this Can anyone tell me
What is the song at 9:00 - 9:45? Thank you
Узнали мелодию?
Metal ..10 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
7:48 Why is a 7.62x54 spent casing in the chamber of a K98?
What ammo did the k98 use?
@@f7ozen25 8x57mm, the spent case in the chamber @ 7:48 appears to have a rim like a Russian 7.62x54R cartridge
The Kar 98 uses a 7.92/54, doubt that's a 7.62
@@miteb.decarburetor2656 I think you mean 7.92x57.
If you look closely the cartridge case @7:48 seems to have a rim, whereas 7.92x57 is rimless (no extractor groove seen)
good digging)
Terbaik 🖒
Brilliant guys
@ 13:02 - That doesn`t look like a military rifle. In fact it is useless for the military because with the scope U can not use the iron sights. Sniper rifles have normaly scope mounts where the iron sights are still usable. If not possible , they would have removed the iron sights. When useless they just adding weight ... That in the pic looks like a after war sporterized hunting rifle.
Not true, they didn’t do that for the sniper rifles back then.
It was main infantry rifle for Germany in WWII, so good with iron sights that they decided to try it as a sniper. It proved better than the snipers they had before it.
Klasse gut
8 min. 40 sec. What is melody
