Your videos are terrific and informative! I will mention, though, that Sunshine's security is WAY understaffed... so, cruising during "kid-happy" seasons (Christmas, Spring Break, etc.) can be a bit nerve-wracking. During these times, packs of obnoxious pre-teens and teens will form, and do their best to take over areas of the ship. They will even go as far as blocking doorways, stairwells, etc. During one cruise, the Serenity area wasn't monitored very well, and plenty of folks under 21 were allowed to create small havoc in the area. One even decided to "cannonball" into the Serenity pool, splashing adults around him and even ruining some of their books they had brought along to read. Not one person from security said a word to him. It wasn't until he brought his Bluetooth music speaker down and started blasting his own music in the area that they said something. Is this Carnival's fault? Not really... but, security should be MUCH stronger in these areas.
We noticed some similar issues, but in varying amounts on the back-to-back cruises we did. We asked some of the more well-behaved kids about it and they indicated a lack of parental involvement with the kids who were acting up.
Thanks so much for this video. We are about to go on our first cruise with our three children and info about kid stuff is few and far between! Great info!!!
Camp Carnival is now called Camp Ocean and it's still complimentary for kids ages 2-11. The only time there's an additional fee is for their late-night program (Night Owls), which typically runs from 10 PM - 1 AM and costs $7.50 + 18% gratuity per hour per child. The teens programs are also complimentary and typically stay open until 1 AM without Night Owls fees.
The consoles and games vary, but they typically have some combination of Playstation, Xbox, and Switch consoles available. Games tend to be things like Just Dance, Minecraft, and Mario Kart.
My son would love this, I signed my child in yesterday when Chek in this morning. Thanks for sharing this video.
So helpful. Thanks!
Your videos are very informative. We can't wait to cruise on the Sunshine next month!
Thank you so much! We hope you have a great cruise! Be on the lookout for some more Sunshine videos we'll be posting before you leave.

@@TheJellyBeans thank you for the info!!
Circle C. Trying to find out what kind of consoles and games they have???
The consoles and games vary, but they typically have some combination of Playstation, Xbox, and Switch consoles available. Games tend to be things like Just Dance, Minecraft, and Mario Kart.
What deck are these clubs on?
Camp Ocean, Circle "C," and Club O2 are all located on Deck 10 Aft. SportSquare is located on Deck 11 Aft. Hope this helps!
Cruise Tips by The Jelly Beans - So would that be near the buffet area.
Correct. The kids clubs are basically directly above the buffet area and SportSquare is directly above the kids clubs.
Lol they just let people roam the liquid lounge went not in use!
