Wow, what a great presentation on Furgas. I knew very little about them but you guys have done so much research and have shown so many beautiful dolls I feel like I know a lot more about them. I love the dolls, the fashions, and the art! Thanks for the video!

Oh I'm so glad you guys popped up on my search, this is so good! I have my Simona from the late 60's and some of her clothes. All these years and found her by accident. I'd love to learn more about these gorgeous dolls and also how to restore the eyelashes, wash her hair, you know, give her a spa day. Keep up the collecting, you guys are great!

Very nice presentation,,I just received my 2nd Simona today,,so now I have one with silver hair and one with the honey blonde hair, and yes to get one in decent condition and lower priced it takes time to find them…I had a Simona when I was young in the60’s and of course I have no idea what happened to her, but now in my older days I am collecting dolls again and really enjoy cleaning them a bit and sewing them some outfits. Thanks for sharing❤.

Wow, thank you for this video. Have them all in my doll collection. Love them. Simona was my childhood doll. Still have her, bought the rest as an adult, so happy to finally have them all. When I was little my best friend and her two sisters had the other 3 altamoda dolls.

Oh my gosh! My mother’s wedding gown was so much like that one! She had a beautiful pill- box hat a’la Jackie-O, of course. I think that more women should wear short gloves at weddings. They add something special, like an exclamation point! Lol!

Hi! Simona came out in 1967. They were produced until 1970, and they stayed in catalogue until 1972. :)

I think that maybe Susanna is rocking the ‘hot-pants’ aesthetic, instead of panties. My Aunt had an outfit exactly like that one! I love these dolls! 🙏🕯🕊💜🎀

Joey, I am so happy to have found your channel!!! I will slowly watch all your videos. I also enjoyed the video series you did on another channel about dolls of various decades. Would be nice if you made a video about doll articulation, for example when did dolls started to be able to spread their arms sideways, when the knee articulation started, when there were joints etc. Also another video could be about doll packaging, I noticed early dolls had full closed boxes, when did the plastic window boxes started etc. If you have more knowledge about these things, it would be very interesting to collectors to learn about it xxx

I find these at the thrift shops all the time, I never buy them because they are so big and I already have so many space issues as it is and also because they are hard to dress, but they are beautiful!!!!

So good to meet Eric in... video? 😂❤️ Those dolls! I am dying! Simona is my ultimate fave. She has such an interesting face. Good thing she is the easiest to find 😂 That rarely is the case with me. The illustrations are so gorgeous too!

How strange to know the Alta Moda dolls were not sold in the US, except for Simona. However, I bought a Sylvie doll in the late 1960's, probably around 1968, in Syracuse, NY. She was in the blue checked bathrobe with white sandals. I am pretty sure I got her from a small five and dime store called Ben Franklin, which carried a wide variety of goods and where I also bought my Barbie dolls, She came in a plain red cardboard doll traveling case. How on earth could this doll have come to be sold there???

I was lucky enough to find Simona at an estate sale. She is very dirty. Do you have any tips for cleaning/styling her hair? All your Furga girls are gorgeous! Also, how were you able to lift up her hair from her forehead since it is glued on?
