The final tribal was more underwhelming than Redemption Island's, becuase on the other one we knew Rob wasn't losing but we also got to see the jury bashing on the other two. This one was just not giving a s about Shay's game and just giving the money to their master.
“Their master” 🙄 there’s only one person that played the game. Chrissy never watched the show and had no idea what she was doing. Shay won challenges and that’s it. She admitted she didn’t do anything strategically because she was not in the majority, ignoring the fact so many people throughout survivor made big moves from the bottom
@@FlynnMasters Apparently most of the men on the jury would interrupt Shay constantly during ftc and wouldn't let her speak her case. There was blatant sexism there and it's really disappointing.
Sandra slayed. It was weird to see her edit though, they put soooo many weird shots of her throughout the episodes. Australian survivor would be so much better with 20 players max and one or two episodes per week. And please no more non elimination twists.
@@manflabs5209 This many non elimination episodes don’t make a survivor season better. And I think there’s a reason survivor US never featured more than 20 people in one season. You can’t give this many people the screen time they deserve to tell their story. Australian survivor does it because the more episodes they produce the more money they get to pay off the large production costs.
Aussie survivor rely too much on recruiting people that’s barely seen the show. People like Shay and Christie have no idea the criteria for winning the jury vote, and thought they had a shot in hell winning against Mark 🙄
The main thing with this ssn is basically the newbie duos all had 1 person who would understand, and one who wouldn't. (Some exceptions ofc). Most of the time the more knowledgeable of survivor would be the one to go first.
Yeah the show actually started in 2002. Before the channel 10 version premiered in 2016 there were two flop seasons; one in 2002 with 16 strangers on channel 9 and one in 2006 with 12 celebrities on channel 7.
@@um773 Yeah but he wasn't referring to the 2002 season, he meant to say January 31st, 2022. The 2002 series didn't even premiere in January, it first aired in February 2002.
Sam “taking” Jessie’s idol and voting him the same day was iconic. Truly cemented her as a legend in my eye
After Nina left it went downhill
It’s literally so hard to find this in America glad you made the video bro. 👍🏿
I quit this season when Sandra and Nina left.
I'm sure you weren't the only one
Same 😅
@@FlynnMasters I watched the whole thing through but ya it sucked after they both left lol
The queen is still the queen.
Once the Queen Sandra and Princess Nina left, I wanted to die watching the post-merge of this season.
This season was kinda boring they let Mark easily get to the end but Jordie was very entertaining
Yes
You are kinda kind it was worse than boring
I loved the season, but I just felt underwhelmed by the winner choice.
My favs were Chey, Kahn, Sandra, Chrissy + Nina

Turns out the jury was pretty brutal to both Shay and Chrissy, but it wasn't shown

@@FlynnMasters that makes sense considering shay got like one question the entire final tribal
@@freddytang2128 Being on the bottom a lot and still managing to get to final tribal AND winning non less than 4 necklaces is rather impressive.

you rock these

The way Australian tv works forces 2 non elim twists to happen at least per season
@@Chris-ft2yx more is not always better
@@Ryan_Tiziano But you gave no reasoning why a 20 player max and stretching the season over more weeks would be beneficial

You should do more Australian survivor recaps if you can
Bro. I needed this I can’t watch such a disappointing season but I need to know what happens for heroes villains
I feel like Alex could have been a good fit for the hereos tribe on the next season
0:05 I'm sorry, 2002? Are.. have we gone back in time to before I was born?
Is it just me, or does Sandra always get swapped screwed?

The editing of this season was abysmal
17:04 lol u funny
Wow this season looks like it sux. Heros vs Villians AU jus blows this out the water 😂
Jessie's stupidity of not taking care of his idol ruined this season.
Is it just me or does josh look like the Gita chad from the meme
this season did not premiere in 2002 lol
Lol I don't know how i missed that.
