He doesn't have the pictures lining up with MS-67 or MS-68 1983-P pennies. If they are circulated (darker brown instead of toned pinkish) you may as well spend them or save them for zinc metal melt art projects. It is legal to melt or destroy U.S. coinage for art (finger rings made from quarters to smelted zinc now in pennies 1983 to date). The copper pennies are now worth 2.6 cents of copper saved on copper smelting projects where melting metal for copper projects is needed. Scrap copper is now easier to find in appliances for discarding. I found one of the zinc 2006 pennies in the crack of a surface. It is badly corroded worse (readable date only by microscope in raised ridges) than a penny corrosion in any 3.1 gram pre-1982 penny. At stores with coin change payments for groceries my badly corroded penny of mostly zinc layered copper at 2.5 grams it gets kicked back out like other counterfeit metal disks. I'm just going to jar some and bury in the yard for smelting projects in art potentials.
