- Tried doing some paper animation for the first time! It was fun!
How did I make it?
I used construction paper, procreate, and flipaclip!
I cut out shapes out of the construction paper and then took pictures and uploaded them into Procreate. If I needed to do a more complex shape, I took a picture of just a piece of paper and then I used the select tool in Procreate to make the shape! However, some things like the roses and the Venus fly traps were done by hand and I just took pictures of them. Once I had all the shapes I needed, I uploaded each shape to Flipaclip by exporting it with a transparent background as a PNG file from Procreate. It was very different from what I normally animate, but I really liked it!

Thank you! Though most of the animation was digital I’m still very happy with the stop motion part (since it’s time consuming and less controlled than digital animation)!

TYTY! It’s with real paper! I mainly took pictures of sheets of construction paper and then used the lasso tool (digitally) to make shapes I could use to animate with! I also used a bit of stop motion animation with the Venus fly traps!

Someone probably already said this but words cannot describe just how much I love this art style.
I saw this when it released and it still stays in my mind.
This animation is done so well it feels familiar to me. And this song is synonymous with your animation, I could recall it by memory even if it was lost forever. But what sticks with me most is the absolute betrayal in August's eyes. It strikes me to my core, as if I am feeling the same thing.
