WE all knew as drivers that an armour piercing 7.62 would go straight through the front and you stood no chance against RPG that is why it was to transport troops in and then get out until called back to pick the squad up, that is why it is a personnel carrier and not an Armoured Fighting Vehicle like the Warrior which had better armour and a Raden cannon fitted and go into the thick of a battle.
