Billie just has this soft thing that wrecks you in her songs! What was I made for wrecks me every time I hear it. I can’t listen to it or I’ll cry
I like them both. Both talented in their own right.
Kelly has better vocals but I feel like Billie’s fits better with the vibes of the song. While Kelly sounded like a precessional singer hitting a note, Billie sounded angry and upset, almost as if she’s yelling.
Billie : A teenage said “Leave me alone !”
Kelly : A divorce mum with 3 kids said “Leave me alone!!!!!”
What does that even mean?

So the teen is very angst they're going through a phase its almost like a temper tantrum in your pillow. Like really Frustrated. In the heat of the moment. First heart break anger.
The divorce mom is like a wounded woman who is processing everything, and when a women is done that is it. Its calculated, thought out, raw. No going back.
Dude.....love this comment!!!
@@SabriinaX6 thanks but hasn't billie also gone through a lot. Just because it's not the same things as Kelly doesn't mean she hasn't been hurt. Billie is only 20 I believe. She never thought she would make it to 17 though
@@caitlynn-zj8jf I am not discrediting what Billie has been through, of course young people can go through a lot of truma and mental health issues. And I'm sure she has had her share.
All I meant in terms of how they cover the song that Is the feeling I get when they sing this version of the song 🎵
I love that laugh that bille did idk why I find it kinda cute lol ❤
I love both versions, it almost feels like each version for each mood. One more emotional, one more powerful
I love both. Their delivery matches themselves. Billie's like a teenager/young woman and Kelly's a grown woman so I can imagine different scenarios to go with their singing despite them singing the same song. Billie gives off "Leave me a lone, I just want to have fun" and Kelly gives off "Leave me alone, I just want to move on" If that makes sense.
Kelly sang it like a singer. Billie sang it like a rockstar. Period.
Edit : I'm sorry if I didn't phrase it right. I understand rockstars are still singers, I meant that billie has the energy a rockstar would have. The emotion and energy. Kelly has the beautiful vocals and did a great cover of billies song. But immediately I thought billie sang it better. No hate at all to Kelly, I've heard her songs and they are my childhood. Just personally billie sang her song better. Xxx
Facts
this one 👏
Love you for this analysis
The excuses
This. And I'm for rockstars.
I love them both!!! ❤❤
Both are uniquely amazing. I love them both ❤
It’s Billie’s song. No doubt her style and constant improvements are what make the original so good, but at the same time Kelly delivers it so cleanly and clearly that you cant not be impressed or amazed by it. Definitely a win for both singers IMO.
Billie's never fail to give me goosebumps. It delivers the emotions the best for me
Kelly’s def has more emotion tho I’m confused
@@mattyfromhell how? she sounds cold and dead.
@@beth641 She’s… actually singing. Billie’s raspy, forced Gen Z indie artist voice that every “artist” seems to have now doesn’t count as emotion.
@@mattyfromhell but Billie is actually able to sing and chose to deliver this in that specific way which I think differs greatly from other artists that genuinely can't sing well and just make this their 'style'. Kelly's version lacked emotion because given the context of the song she made it too traditionally sing-y (?)
@@continental.breakfast But again, that style doesn’t equal emotion. It’s a style of singing. Kelly sang from her soul, especially on that last note. Doing a generic, overdone raspy style of singing doesn’t mean you’re singing with more emotion.
Love them bith!:each version is amazing
They should do a duet on this!!
Billie - has a mocking emotional tone
Kelly- has hurt and anxiety emotional tone to it
Wow
Agree
Exactly
Yeah very true
Billie has a cynical tone
Kelly has a tone of disappointment and years of deep pain.
I hear and can feel Kelly's pain.
Both of them are very good. I like billies more tho, because hers is more emotional and raw. As if she’s probably singing about her own experience.
Literal goosebumps with Kelly’s, but Billie’s emotion… truly amazing artists
In this case, not better just different,, but equally fantastic!
