nah nigga, it's like Westbrook 3.0 who is smarter than 2015 but just as athletic, and hustles harder on defense. He already been their done that with the triple-doubles as the MVP. Now he can slightly adjust and play more defense since he has talent that can keep up with him on defense. And now he has 2 KD's to pass to, plus an Adams 2.0 who is also smarter and bigger than before. And Robison is an awesome 5th man. And everyone else on the team is stepping up their game as well. Everyone crying about OKC bench? Well OKC's bench just pissed on your tears. And you see that defense? DEFENSE! The missing ingredient. And they have the bodies and depth to maintain strong defense through the whole game. I'm not worried about their offense at all. They can improve that and already it is good. I can't wait till they play the Warriors... amg... I can't wait. I want to see the look on the Warriors face when Westbrook brings his full team with him to back him up. Like, for real FULL. Big men to guard the paint? check. Offensive Range? check. Tenacious Defense? check. All-Star scorers? Check. Players that buy into a team system and sacrifice everything to win? check. now that the thunder seasons over, i just realise that the big 3 is actually doing very well jn the first few games of the season. like this game, russ took like 12 shots along with 16 assists, while pg and melo taking 20 of them to get 20+. THIS SHD HV BEEN THE WAY OKC PLAYED. then as the season goes, russ unreasonably turned back to his mvp season mode, which to me bothered pg and melo. that explains why pg went icecold in the second half of the season, while melo isnt even getting the ball and constantly underperforming. as an okc fan, this heartbreaking af...

OKC is the 2nd best team in the NBA if they play to their potential. It's too bad Warriors, Spurs, OKC, and Houston are all in the same conference. Cleveland would easily be 4-5 seed if they played in the West, but since they play in the East they'll easily get to the Finals untested.

I'm a Thunder fan but - it was one game. Like Ferguson he will see a few minutes more when the calendar says 2018. But he won't play heavy minutes as a) no rookie plays well consistently b) he won't see minutes with the game on the line c) against most teams OKC doesn't need a 7 foot beast to replace Adams, it'll be small ball d) though he might give you rebounding and physicality, he'll likely miss defensive assignments and switches as well being less quick and experienced. But I agree he had a nice 2 minutes today and you can throw him in there when you're having a solid lead

So Glad that he has talent around him now and he can open the floor pretty much every play with his ability to get to the basket at will. This will definitely be another great season for westbrook. Looking forward to seeing them beat the Warriors. I watched the game live & honestly forgot and realized that westbrook got a triple double without him “forcing” rebounds and a triple double.
The offense flowed to him with the defense paul and melo and other okc teammates created. Melo did amazing so did Paul, Paul was a lil shaky but its okay bc he contributed to the team with most points. Good game how we only let a team score 84 points in our court. And blew em out by 21. After watching this...I cant believe the thunder are currently on a losing streak..everyone played well for the thunder in this game and they played TOGETHER..maybe that's why they're losing now,they need to go back to this and play as a team.
They will improve collectively as the season goes on; at their peak, they are at the very least a 55 win team.
