Thanks a million Mr. Wolf for sharing with all of us this historical and intellectually inspiring recording. It alone is sufficient to make one want to learn through the entire Tanya and Nefesh HaChayim, in order to understand the philosophical foundations underpinning Ashkenazi Jewry today (for those who are interested in the true foundations, not the external ones like what hat and jacket one wears). One may disagree with Rav Soloveitchik's precise views, but I don't think anyone can find a more fantastic teacher than he was. I never leave his lecture with any doubt as to his views and their supportive arguments.
