    It's funny hearing both of them say it's weird seeing the picture of just America with no Canada on top. My first thought is it isn't that odd, but that's because I'm American. I see just the shape of America quite often, but for internationals it does make sense you would see Canada/America/Mexico because it makes up North America.

    So I loved that cut of the segment with Renee Paquette and Brian, but in particular when they pinned the camera to catch Jeff Jarrett coming in to talk to him, you could see behind him because it is a production set up for the interview, RJ has this befuddled look on his face like Jeff what are you doing? this is because RJ is a behind-the-scenes producer of the show so he’s doing a natural reaction to somebody’s doing something out of the ordinary. It was a nice touch.

    Blood and guts/wargames is such a hard gimmick match to do because you can’t really do it on a regular basis. Just by the sheer nature of what the match is, it’s the Killshot match for a major rivalry. What has happened is that they turned it into a faction match. How wargames worked back in the day was you had several wrestlers in the middle of feuds and at a certain point everybody started to Kris Kross each other. So the only way they could resolve it was in a blood feud the problem with this particular blood and guts for me is that there is no established feud, except for hangman and swarf. Everything else is just a regular rivalry there’s nothing extreme about anything with the other players involved.

    Sorry boys there’s one other thing you skipped over. After Matthew told hangman to come back in the ring or he’s fired he started arguing with Matthew and Okada got in hangman‘s face and pushed him and then everything went crazy with the good guys in the bad guys, but definitely hangman is a wildcard with the elite, he is not in with them at all, and I think there’s gonna be an Okada hangman thing coming soon

    I thought the Suzuki \ Jericho match wasn't that good, Jericho kept flinching in a way that made Suzuki chops sound crap compared to Suzuki who made the chops he took sound really good. Despite only knowing of Suzuki's existence for 2+ years I think he's awesome and he's had better matches. I think my favorite is the one he had with Brian Danielson a long while back, before the first Forbidden Door.

    Here you go Sidge, this is how you salvage that weird thing with hangman and swerve. It’s four on four Okada and Briscoe are not there. Everything goes as it’s going and all that swerve and hangman get outside. They go up the ramp. They’re fighting everything they’re over by the edge of the main stage. Then Okada comes out and instead of hitting swerve, he nails hangman by mistake. Briscoe comes out, takes out Okada and then swerve picks up hangman and just deliberately dump off the side. As an alternate to that, hangman and swerve are going at it. Okada comes out, takes out swerve for the moment hangman gets in Okada‘s face for getting involved in his business with swerve then Briscoe comes out to take out Okada and before hangman realizes what’s happening, let’s say swerve does a belly to belly off the stage.

    I really do think that blood and guts needs to be quietly put to the side and not used for a long time. And I don’t mean once a year I mean, put it away. Once you’ve established at some point, several different extreme rivalries that are just way out of control then bring wargames into play.

    Also, like I said, I kind of miss the roaming paparazzi style camera set up. They used to have in the backstage so that they’re trying to capture everything that’s going on back backstage with the wrestlers. Like for example, if somebody’s having this conversation, they think no one’s paying attention to there’s a camera kind of nearby capturing it you know who used to do that funny enough TNA/impact used to do that during the Hogan era and a part it was silly, but I kind of liked it because it made sense that they were going to try to capture things that you normally would not see it was a little over the top but it’s not a bad idea. Just dialed back.

    As a matter of fact, you know what it would’ve been probably slightly better for me if the lineup was hangman/swerve, Darby/Jack Perry, young Bucks/acclaimed. Then in the midst of all that at some point, Okada tries to get involved and Briscoe then gets involved. I would have preferred that.

    I don’t care what promotion does it handcuff spots just take so damn long because you’re trying to rush to takeoff a handcuff and it’s not easy. It literally is not easy to take off a handcuff when you’re trying to rush. Unless the whole point is that the drama is people are doing stuff in the ring while you’re trying to take the handcuffs off and that’s taking a while. That’s one thing, but everybody stopped and started to stare at them while they were trying to take the handcuff off and that kind of took me off The match itself. So I don’t mind, but it has to be like you can’t pay attention to it. Just let the match keep going and when it happens, it happens.

    Again, I have absolutely no problem with Cory Graves position and I support him in his feelings for it. The thing that they will make comments about is the swing chair shot. The one where one wrestler is going all in with the shot on the other wrestler to the head. most of the other stuff involving head shots either because of a move or something else they’ll be a little wishy-washy about it they should not be but yeah it’s the what I call baseball swing of the chair

    Oh hey Sidge I know you were skipping ahead but just kind of lay it out for people who may not have seen it and I was just going off of what you’re saying they handcuffed swerve, they locked the cage so he cannot get in, Jeff Jarrett came down with daddy ass to unlock the cuffs and Nana came down with pliers, they uncuffed swerve swerve, cannot get in so he use the pliers to “cut” the cage so he can get in.

    OK, I have to say this. I did not see the part of the airport situation or that Marvez was there but to be honest with you, like the fact that Marvez is this floating field reporter for AEW so when he catches wind of like osprey arriving, he’s gonna be there to catch an interview and then oh my God I have a flat tire hey Marvez. That I prefer them to just have the camera set up in the airport for no reason. AEW stopped doing these pseudo paparazzi type appearances of cameras or interviewers out of nowhere and I missed that. they really should have the whole point of the camera being in backstage is because they are capturing every moment after a match of what’s happening with the wrestlers and how they catch certain moments.

  • @francisco_m7849
    @francisco_m7849 Месяц назад

    Wargames in WWE is basically the same thing as blood and guts and AEW it just got to the point where it was just a reason to have a spot fest. The buildup were pretty much ridiculous and the matches had to have been just a lot of insane set ups.

    Yeah, I was thinking about it and currently right now there really isn’t anybody who is in that much of a feud/rivalry to have a wargame or anarchy at the Arena. Also, if I remember right back in the day when it first started by Dusty Rhodes, it was a four person group, if I remember right it was the rotor warriors Dusty and magnum TA against the four Horsemen yeah that’s it. It was four people so leveling up to a five man thing was actually a bad idea.😮😢😂

  • @francisco_m7849
    @francisco_m7849 Месяц назад

    Now, to my other point, which I believe I may have stated earlier and I apologize if I’m repeating, but sometimes I forget, and I don’t wanna go back through the comments to doublecheck. I still am certain that a wargames/blood and guts cage match only works when it’s and eight men event. 10 people is just way too many too many things going on too many variables. It’s much better when it’s four because you have space you can stretch it out in between the two rings and you can even have a moment where all four competitors are just so battered that they’re all just laid out and bloodied and trying to catch their breath, which is something they should’ve done. But yeah old school on four this whole 10 people in the ring trying to kill each other. Stuff is way too much.

  • @francisco_m7849
    @francisco_m7849 Месяц назад

    I am still out the mind that the world title and the world tag team titles should still be guided by the ranking system. The other belts, I don’t really necessarily care about the ranking to a certain degree. I’d rather have those belts as rivalry, belts or better yet prestige belts, like another words how the TNT title has a prestige to it because of the wrestlers who defended it prior. The continental belt should be a tournament belt. Like at some point there should be another continental classic in order to get a contender for that belt. That’s how I see. It is based off of rankings, the continental belt should be based on a tournament, the TNT belt should be a workhorse belt. that international/America belt is the iffy belt that one I really don’t have a real reason for it work belt should be the TNT belt

    Oh my God my brain is going like 1,000,000 miles an hour. You could even use the incident from last year’s Wembley as an example of why cameras in the backstage are much more parent when the wrestlers are backstage because you don’t know what will happen from one moment to another. Basically, my bottom line is acknowledged that the camera is there is what I’m trying to say

  • @francisco_m7849
    @francisco_m7849 Месяц назад

    So tell you, what if you really wanted to up the anti with running a blood and guts which it should’ve been now because they’re building all these feuds what it should have been on one side, swerve, Darby, Osprey versus hangman, Jack Perry, MJF. The fourth member of either team could’ve been Briscoe and for the bad guys let’s say rush. go there is your team everyone has personal beef enough to where they want to kill each other or is what you want and a body match. The problem is blood and guts would have to have been further down the line to build up these rivalries.

One last thing they pour petrol on jungle boy and make it clear he believes he will be set on fire and killed but he still won't quit because he's so hard😂😂😂 there's nothing on this match so he just looks dumb he won't quit even though it effects nothing so hes willing to die for pride?
