You can't love someone that only wants to be superior to you in a delusional game they create. Believing their lies is what gives them validation, that's what's meant by narcissistic validation. They basically want you to be trash and for you to believe it. Don't give it to them. Oftentimes narcissists try to tell you that you're the one seeking validation when it's been them trying to project a image of you and make you believe it, that's what gaslighting is. The way a narcissist brain work is 2 dimensional. They have the potential to be completely convinced of their own thoughts about you, it's literally like psychosis but instead of confusing the internal for external they confuse the external for the internal. Sam vaknin talks about this if anyone knows he is. that's why it's impossible to work out a relationship they are literally delusional

My mum was a Covert Narc and dad and myself was living in hell.
Then I married a Covert Narc for 26 years x 3 kids. He turned on me, & he played vict and turned my kids against me and they all betrayed me, I have not seen or spoke to my kids for 2 years, his greed, he tried to unalive me, him & his minions. I escaped and now I have been separated and divorced for 2 years. My connection & faith in GOD saved me and gave me the strength to leave. It was extremely hard, as I showed him unconditional love, they love conditionally, opportinists. The EMPATH & NARC dynamic. I felt sorry for him as he has childhood wounds that he never healed.
All Narcs all over the world thats is the root of the problem - they need to heal childhood wounds.

These people do not take care of themselves and are usually miserable so they divert their focus on those around them to try and control. They are very jealous of others.They manipulate and play games then attack when you least expect it. I agree its best to move away from them if you can. Pray for them and let go. You cannot fix them. Save yourself and love yourself first.
Beware of people who don't take care of themselves because they won't be able to take care of you either.
Their hearts and minds are sealed, they can't seem to see a life of god and of goodness.
Hence they don't know how to truly be happy and fulfilled and they do bad things to themselves, ruin their chances in life and run over everyone else, if they cannot wake up, they cannot win
I'm not sure it's sealed. But it is probably extremely difficult to lead them to better paths. Any thoughts.

I was married for 20years to one,he got worse and worse over the years,more violent,more abusive verbally,sexually,it's like he was getting more and more desperate he would do anything to anyone rages,temper tantrums, stamping feet, smashing things up,throwing things,then acting like nothing had happened my head was spinning,I filed for a divorce without knowing what he was,scorched earth syndrome,he went for my jugular with Everything and anything(,get your ducks in a row first),I use to hear what he was doing years later it was identical stuff with his new wife, crashing vehicles was a big thing of his ,he once put my headlights through with a pool cue so I couldn't leave him it was getting dark when he did it,I moved away cut ties with Everyone ,I can spot narcs a mile of their behaviour is identical,learn the patterns,cycles,and cut ties for your own sanity!!,it doesn't stop them but you know what to expect, although even after educating myself for 8 years narcs still manage to raise my eyebrows with shocking appalling behaviour that fails me for words

I was married to a covert narc (7 years married 10 years together). It was like a light switch was pulled suddenly it was a different person, I found evidence of infidelity and the reason for the sudden shift was because my family member died and left and inheritance - she expected to get half of it.

I used to want to get revenge on my ex who I had kids with and then she was screwing behind my back and ended up kicking me out. Now I realise that there is no punishment I could give her worse than she experiences every moment of every day. She has dark trauma in her past
I have one of these in my life that I have to have some contact with for family reasons but I've wised up over the last year or so. Minimal contact. One day this person will be out of my life. I have no empathy for them anymore. I used to and it made me sick. I ended up becoming the “mentally ill/crazy” one when all I wanted was love, connection, respect, etc. you know the normal things that people want. Instead I ended up losing so much time, money and precious moments with my dad who has now passed, my health, etc. I used to feel bad of the inner turmoil narcs go through but now it gives me peace and comfort because I do not seek revenge anymore, my revenge is them being who they are. If being around them makes me this sick, I can’t imagine what they are going through since they have to be with themselves 24/7.

Last year I dated a damaged woman who is a Covert Narc from her childhood trauma of foster homes. I live in NYC also btw.
That was my mom, she'd lay on the couch all day bitching and whining about what I'd do for her while she wouldn't do anything. She'd lay on the couch all day watching RUclips drinking some wine while eating a bag of Cheetos 🤦
Yeah same my mom does absolutely nothing all day beyond staring at the tv screen and gossiping on the phone about other people. She once complained that a drs appointment was 20 mins away.

You are so correct Terryjoeljunior; i know 2 narcissists in my immediate life. My own sibling and my moms bestie. The bestie of my mom is the biggest Feminist that I have ever come across. She is of the belief that she is better than anyone else on earth. There is never anything wrong with her. She has plenty to say always.
The sibling on the other hand has the pride of God Almighty; he believes he is God incarnate. He lives in his 2 story mansion on his high horse, living with his Nurse girlfriend. And my parents think the world of her. She is so selfish and self absorbed. She is literally perfect for him; everytime they come to the house to visit parents, he puts up a facade of caring what my life is made up of. When he clearly doesn't give a flying f***. I gave up on finding a friend, or confidant to Share with.

It's struggle to know them they can switch in a dime like chameleon. They can work with out a day off they have a high motor and can't stay still. Just didn't feel safe with them felt like I was waiting to get back stab. Went no contact and found peace and serenity away from them

For brain toxicity I like to use sideritis scardica (greek mountain tea), silica (prevent aluminum toxicity) and cilantro (detoxing mercury from the brain), it helps alot
