A good tip I've learned from experience is dont think of the figure as a collection of joints and parts but think of it as a whole person.
When you're too focused on animating one or two limbs at a time you might notice that the head jitters strangely from frame to frame or that the feet slide around on the ground. Always take a step back to look at the big picture when animating unless its a close up where only a portion of the body is visible. Look at the pose from multiple angles and also be mindful of how a human body bends in a zigzag pattern to better balance itself. This includes bending forward and backward but also from side to side.

Ease in n ease out as well as taking full advantage of a figure's articulation are definitely the two biggest things i need to work on for my animations.

Totally cool video!! I’m always looking to improve my work and really appreciate your input. I’m working on a Batman video and should start work on a major fight scene tomorrow. I’ll see if I can incorporate the “rotated joint” technique in your video!

The challenging part of stop motion animation is animating the whole stop motion on first person perspective. For example , you need to keep the figure's head out of view and holding some of severed parts at the view of the camera. The complication of animating in first person perspective is that you also need to animate other figures simultaneously while you are animating the main figure excluding the head as you are animating the sequence under it's perspective.
Well , there are some sequences of my own stop motion where third person perspective switches to first person perspective.
For example, in Batman Vs The avengers Stop Motion , when Batman electrically punches Iron Man , we get to see he grabbed Ironman by the throat on his perspective. There is another first person perspective animation when Ironman grab Batman's throat while flying upwards.
