I tried this recipe to make mutton biryani. It was of perfect flavours. My husband and daughter loved it. My mom also liked it. It is simple and easy to follow instructions. I enjoyed making the biriyani. Towards the end, may be because this is the first attempt to cook in dum without cooker whistle, the rice took a long time to be cooked to the consistency that we like. So it took more time on stove at low flame to be fully prepared.
Nice video, but i have a doubt, many videos showing to add Kashmiri chilli powder, but we always use normal red chilli powder in basmati biriyani, should we add kashmiri chilli for seeraga samba biriyani? whats the difference between these 2 chilli powders? which has more effect and taste? please clarify. I feel normal red chilli powder itself good.
