The runway collection was presented at the historic Manège de l’École Militaire, France’s oldest riding school, with models walking alongside ponies provided by renowned horse whisperer and rescuer Jean-Francois Pignon.

@@lukamartinovich6162 I would have thought it is not herded them into a space with pounding music and an audience full of people, didn´t look like much horse riding was going on there, plus I thought they were wild horses.
@Sam da Silva they aren't wild, they have been used in so many liberty shows and have been raised and trained for this. He didn't just go grab a random horse from the Bush and shove it into a sand arena. They are used to this and aren't distressed looking at all

Stella McCartney using animals for human entertainment. Honestly, I am really surprised given how vocal she is about animal rights. Why on earth would she take horses (supposedly wild ones at that), put them in a place with pounding music and an audience full of people?
Have you even watched the show? 😅 This was the herd of Jean Francois Pignon. Liberty dressage. Very strong positive horse-human connection. One of the few show acts that has the most incredible bond with his animals. It could not get more „pro-horse“ with horses involved in a show like this. Clearly, you missed the point here. This is not Chanel, showing a ridden horse. This is Stella McCartney sharing her stage with liberty dressage…. Incredibly well thought move and yes I confirm these animals are amongst the luckiest horses on this planet. They are understood by their human. Unlike many other horses. So the message sits right there. If you chose horses for your fashion show, choose wisely - just like Stella MCCartney did ;-)
These ones aren't wild at all! Most of them were bred and raised to be show horses and have been used in many liberty horse type shows. They are used to crowds
