- This week, let's take a rare look into the mysterious, spooky and unusual ghostly city of Ogden. Dubbed the "most notorious" (in the past) Where hidden, dangerous, and creepy urban local legends and secrets remain.
Today, on @offroad801 I'll be highlighting a real-life look at the "spooky" side of this historical town, found and settled in1846. Whether or not you believe in ghosts, you'll FEEL this town's disturbing past. From old abandoned, underground eerie tunnels, brothels, speakeasies, corruption and illicit activities - Ogden has it's fair share of HAUNTED HOTSPOTS (part 2) that will send shivers down your spine. We're about to explore some history that attracts local patrons to it today.
You see, the Beehive State isn't just known for it's stunning landscapes and outdoor adventures, it has spirits that linger in a palpable and paranormal way . Seriously - UTAH is the best!! A land with such unique history, e.g. Native American tribes, to European explorers - also early Pioneers. and stories that are simply unforgettable. Unlike any others, this old west haunted ghost town, is an ideal journey for anyone traveling, exploring, overlanding or off-roading around the Great Salt Lake area. Chilling remnants can still be seen on the notorious "Two Bit Street" that features restaurants, retail shops and hosts multiple outdoor community events.
Don't worry about the haunted and creepy mystique that remains on 25th St. Just don't come to to Ogden - without exploring it's exciting atmosphere!

I've just stated watching 'Sam walks a lot' and her latest video has some spooky elements.
She's in an old 'Royal forest', of which there were many at one time.
There is something very strange going on in these forests. It's almost as if they knew there was something special about these areas, so made them 'Royal' to keep the ordinary folk from finding out what 😉👀

You need to visit the Diamond, Utah cemetery in Juab County. The cemetery was decimated by grave robbers and human bones were scattered around on the ground. When I last visited the cemetery in 1998, it was still a mess. Rumors have it that many complaints were sent to Juab County to clean-up the cemetery and rebury the remains, but I have no idea if anything was done. Folks say the cemetery is haunted, but I'm not the superstitious type and all I saw were ravaged graves and vandalized headstones, with a few bones scattered around. Sad site indeed.

@offroad801 nevertheless I found it very interesting m8 I know in the uk has quite old places but American history goes back as far as the pabloian people and probably further like a minimum of 8000 years
@Esightseeingtheuk So true. Some artifacts date back even further. We were just in the 4 corners reign last winter. It's just incredible down there. Ruins almost everywhere.

The Egyptian theatre looked an awful lot like the Royal Arcade in Norwich, designed by architect George Skipper...I do like Art Nouveau architecture, it's beautifully ornate.
The Post office has the best elevator I think I've ever seen Curtis 💚👍...but it's very creepy.

@h.bsfaithfulservant4136 Ogden is more interesting than I thought when I was growing up. It sure is fun learning about these things. Two very strong business women of their time. It sounds like they made a lot of money off of men. I've been wanting to see this elevator for a while. 10 years ago was when I first saw it. I'm glad it still works. Crazy sounds like the theater could fit with the reset theory. 🤔 I wonder what year the Royal Arcade claims to be built.

@@offroad801 The Royal Arcade was finished in 1899, and oddly enough I work in another one of Skipper's buildings! He designed a lot of buildings around the city, and I think he did a good job...but I definitely think he was part of the 'secret handshake brigade', and Norwich has a lot of underground tunnels 😉
I do think we've had a reset, but I think there's been more than one. I watched an amazing video on alignments of castles, churches and the like in the UK, and extended into France, all connected to the Solstice...the geometry is amazing, but hundreds of years old...and our old buildings are built over more ancient buildings.
The ancients were way more advanced than we give them credit for!! There's the 'burial' mounds and the ley lines too...they were smart all right 😉, but someone doesn't want us to know 🤨
@h.bsfaithfulservant4136 I think you nailed it. What we are told is probably not the whole story. There are too many signs of greater technologies in the past. The last reset was not very long ago. 🤫 I think.
