Bruce for me didn't let Kiss to sink after Vinnie ' s departure. ...great guitarist, I rank Vinnie Vincent #1, Bruce K #2, and Ace 3 tech wise...in regards of charisma I rank Ace #1, Vinnie #2 and Bruce #3...just my opinion don't shoot me !
zombee38 really great points. I always thought Ace had the most distinct sound. Vinnie was the best song writer. Bruce was the most well rounded. I agree that Bruce lacked that over the top kiss attitude so he kinda wasn’t that dynamic live. However, I do believe Bruce would have shined live if kiss kept the revenge/carnival line up going. I don’t think the glitz and glam was where Bruce’s heart was as a performer. Just my opinion.
steve donahue I enjoy Vinnie I just found his solos to lack feel. That’s the only reason I don’t put him higher on my list. Very talented guys. Both of them.
The talent on display here is really something. Seeing KISS songs that never saw the light of day in this context is special. Thanks to Bruce for being an amazing, kind and talented guy. We're lucky to have him as part of KISStory. Truly a role model.
Carnival would had deserved a tour! Many says it sounds grunge but for me it is a pure heavy Metal album. Tunes are very well composed and the sound is huge and deep big guitars. As you say about Bruce is a very kind guy, when i got a MySpace, he accepted my friend request and even answer to my message! I was so proud and happy saying, wow... Bruce Kulick talks to me altough i'm a nothing!
It's so good to finally hear Carnival tunes ! One of very best Kiss album, thanks to Bruce who did most parts of it while Reunion already went on. This kind humble talented guy deserves high respect from all Kiss Army soldiers.
Wow. Short and simple. The first time I heard Carnival I instantly liked it. I was one of the minority that actually defended it to my fellow KISS fans who immediately said it was trash (for the most part). Glad to see that some fans are coming around to giving it another listen. Yes, it is not the definitive KISS sound, but it was still a solid album. Still like it as much today as I did back in '97. I also echo all of the kudos to Bruce and company for this performance. Bruce has been on the high road ever since his departure from the band and I can't say enough about how enjoy each and every one of his interviews and how he carries himself on stage and with his fans.
@@69kevroletfastback33 ticket sales are kinda mixed. I've seen certain shows are selling terribly but also some are selling really well. I plan going to the Chicago show with 23,000 seats and its selling well.
Tickets sales are mixed because a lot of fans are sick of the greedy Paul and Gene show. If it was with Ace and Peter it would have been all sold out by now! I cant stand fake Kiss. But to each their own. I hope you have a good time at the show!
EVERY one of these videos of Bruce and his band just brings a smile to my face. Well done! This band opening on the Farewell tour would be absolutely perfect.
Respect to Ace Frehley for being who he is, and what he created back in the day but this right here, is Bruce Kulick's show, a true professional from head to toes, focused on playing accurately and not necessarily fast (that's what I love in a guitar player) from the bottom of his heart, bringing back to live an era that at least for me, has been very important in my life. Thanks Bruce, teach Ace and Tommy how things are done mate...
I know it's unpopular to say but "I Loved Carnival of Souls!" Thank you Mike Brunn for posting these videos for 2 Kiss Kruise in a row Bruce Kulick has been the highlight!
Im a die-hard lifelong KISS fanatic since 1975. I love each member past and present. Ive met Bruce Kulick on 2 different occasions and I love him the BEST of all. Hes a great guitarist and one hell of a person.
@@martingaetano1733 no creo q necesite ese trabajo. Es mejor dejarlo asi. Todavia m pregunto q buscaba Kiss haciendo un disco con MUCHA influencia de Alice in Chains y Soundgarden...
Bruce Kulick has the catalog to go on his own. I am thankful for Kiss to allow Bruce to fly once more. He is a true champion of a Kiss guitarist. They should have him open for Kiss and also be part of the show.
That's some good shit right there. I'll say it until the day I die, the KISS reunion tour was the biggest creative mistake the band ever made. Bruce and Eric should NEVER have been sacked.
Agreed, but in terms of cash and popularity, the reunion was a better choice. Those nostalgia dollars rolled in like a tidal wave. Musically, Revenge, Alive III, and Carnival of Souls was the course they should have stayed on. As much as I've enjoyed the albums since, the Revenge era was superior, end of story.
Damn this is good shit! 1 of my favorite albums! Bruce's playing amazing and Todd's vocals are insane! The whole band is tight and the harmonies are awesome..
Gene and Paul should take note of what people are saying online! What Bruce is doing here is what they should be doing! If This truly is the final farewell try doing something different plain whole albums or doing a medley of those albums maybe have special guests. Forget the obvious maybe you get Eddie Van Halen two guests on Christine Sixteen for an example or maybe you get Anton fig to play drums for I was made for loving you obviously it's not all cut and dry there are other musicians that have worked with kiss like Bob kulick it would be great to see play with them on stage.
It's awesome seeing and hearing music from Carnival of Souls live. It's my second favorite studio album (behind Revenge) and that era, including Alive III is just the golden era of KISS for me. It was their musical peak. They were never better before or after. And that's coming from someone who's got every studio album, every live album, and bootlegs out the wazoo. I love every era of the band... and the early 90's was the pinnacle from a musical standpoint. Maybe KISS can take the hint and play some stuff like this on their upcoming tour. The people in this crowd are obviously into these songs.
It's increíble, one of the mejores albums of KISS. Gracias a lot for sharing. At least, more songs from "El Carnaval de las Almas" came to Alive. KISS debe incluir a pair of songs of this album in the "Fin del Camino" Tour.
Ok. There isn't a thing that can beat this. I would rather pay to see this band do a set of revenge and carnival of souls than pay to see kiss on the end of the road tour. Please Bruce, I think there are many fans the world over that need to see this for themselves. Incredible!
No heavens on fire?no lick it up?...Bruce has shown on the last kruize (with bob) and on this one, how many great songs kiss had but never cared.. he is the most loyal kiss member, shown respect to all, Eric Carr especially. And this medley is pure rock!!!!🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Bruce IS and ALWAYS WILL BE the best guitar player on the Kisstory. Bruce freakin' rules!
Bruce!!! The most talented Kiss guitarist hands down!!! I miss the revenge and carnival era!
musically they reached the top with Bruce. If they had chosen a makeup for him...

vinnie was the more talented player but bruce was way more professional
steve donahue I enjoy Vinnie I just found his solos to lack feel. That’s the only reason I don’t put him higher on my list. Very talented guys. Both of them.
Think Bruce is the more professional of all... Don't make mistakes, and sounds excellent almost like listening the CDs
Yes.
Both Tommy and Bruce are so proficient. I think Bruce is so under appreciated as a guitar player. I would stack him up against ANYONE!
Sorry Ace but, this is how you do songs you've never done live before: rehersing! Bruce rocks!
bruce still has his brain cells.
The talent on display here is really something. Seeing KISS songs that never saw the light of day in this context is special. Thanks to Bruce for being an amazing, kind and talented guy. We're lucky to have him as part of KISStory. Truly a role model.

This is amazing - note for note perfect. Best performance on the Kruise for sure. Hope G & P were watching this.
When Carnival of Souls first came out, I didn't pay attention to lyrics or that it was an attempt at grunge. I just heard great music, & I loved it !
Me too. Too bad Paul downplays to album.
@@mikeday6908 Paul always seems to hate the wrong stuff! He would rather do a Crazy Nights album than do a Carnival of Souls. Go figure?

FINALLY!! Bruce getting the props he DESERVES (reading the comments) :)
No compromise. The best of the best by the best Band of the Kruise. Thx to Bruce Kulick & Co. for being just brilliant. Horns up!!! \m/
Marc Lehmann agreeed, that is a killer album also, translates live well!
By far the heaviest album kiss ever recorded!! Rain is a Awesome song. And master and slave
I appreciate Bruce bringing the great Carnival Of Souls songs to the stage.
Best KISS album since Lick it Up. It deserved alot more respect than it got.
HELL YEAH!
I liked revenge just as much as carnival and lick it up

Best kiss album of the last 40 years
Best band of the cruise by far. They should open the tour with and hour slot.

That's some good shit right there. I'll say it until the day I die, the KISS reunion tour was the biggest creative mistake the band ever made. Bruce and Eric should NEVER have been sacked.
