I was born in South Africa and also lived in Botswana and Swaziland and even though I have now lived in the UK for 20 years it still calls me back! Glad you had such a wonderful experience. I get the being self conscious on camera, worrying about your hair etc, I would be the same if I were a vlogger. Unless I was in my 20's maybe! Which I'm not. But as we get older we get wiser, hopefully! It makes a very pleasant change to watch someone similar to me in age not all botoxed up to the nines!...It's reality and we just have to suck it up. Loved the video. I did a safari in the serengeti after doing some volunteer work. I thought when the guy said tents they would be like what you are in. They weren't. It was a 2 man tent in the middle of nowhere. One night an elephant came into the camp . I've never been so scared! Watching your trip has been fun at least x

Wow, what a lovely antidote to Storm Dennis! And the way you film, it feels like we're there...but the most enviable shot of the lot was the way you casually did that effortless handstand!!! Is that years of doing yoga?? Genetics? Whatever it is, do tell us...how can I capture even a little of that agility? I'm not expecting much with a completely shot arthritic knee but wow - you go girl! (I know there's no cure for my current green appearance 😂) Fabulous, thank you 💖
Hiya. My mum has arthritis in her big toe, and knees. She tried taking turmeric and she said it really helped the supplement is called curcummin. She was in alot of pain before. I don't normally leave comments of thus nature but might be worth a try. Other relatives who were waiting for knee replacements tried and said it was good too.
