  • The 2025 Volvo S60 demonstrates that there is still place for sedans and wagons in the small premium segment. Buyers who can go without an SUV's load room will be rewarded with attractive style, adequate power, and impressive economy. The S60's conservative look and superb tailoring make it a conventional luxury vehicle that nevertheless offers the practical benefits of current technology. The S60 has a tiny cabin and little adaptability. However, for people who do not measure luxury with a tape measure, the S60 has a significant attraction. The S60 has a tiny cabin and little adaptability. However, for people who do not measure luxury with a tape measure, the S60 has a significant attraction. The S60 sedan and V60 wagon stand out from the crowd without relying on design trends and embellishments. The traditional Volvo emblem and diagonal spear are prominently shown on the broad grille. The compact headlights are slanted toward the grille and have a brilliant C-shaped trim. The sedan's taillights follow the clamp design, whereas the wagon's taillights are vertical along the tailgate edges. The sides include a lower-body crease that runs between the wheels. The cabin combines geometric elements with subtle details to create an appealing look. A 9.0-inch vertical touchscreen handles the majority of functions with ease. Except for the basic trim, all models have genuine leather and wood trim, and the optional wool upholstery is particularly luxurious. The S60 begins at $43,795 including destination and has front-wheel drive and a 247-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo with 48-volt mild hybrid assist. The S60 has all-wheel drive, while the V60 comes standard ($52,690). Every model features an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The 2.0-liter engine pairs nicely with the transmission, resulting in energetic takeoffs and smooth acceleration in ordinary driving. The sedan and wagon are capable cruisers, geared more toward comfort than excitement. The steering is swift and neatly weighted, albeit not particularly sporty. The V60 has 8.3 inches of ground clearance, which is ideal for crossing the occasional campground or gravel road. The S60 and V60 become extremely fast when equipped with the available Recharge powertrain. The plug-in hybrid system upgrades the 2.0-liter engine with a supercharger, a bigger battery, and an electric motor. The combined output rises to 455 horsepower, which is enough to propel the duo from zero to 60 mph in under four seconds. AWD comes standard on all Recharge models. When fitted with the Recharge system, the V60 gets Volvo's Polestar Engineered performance package, which includes Brembo brakes and suspension dampers. The V60 Recharge Polestar ($72,445) rides stiffly, thus it's best suited to devoted performance enthusiasts. The S60 Recharge ($54,490) has a traditional suspension arrangement that is easy on passengers and the budget.
