Instead of using the the connectors, you can use sndcpy along with scrcpy to get audio on your pc via usb. This way you only need headphones on your phone, you can record the screen and audio on your pc itself.
Yes. That is also a solution. Someone has actually already commented that. However, according to the sndcpy github page, it will only work for android 10 and above.
Anong issue mo about sa lag sa output? Sa scrcpy mo ba kino-control yung phone mo? Please subscribe if you haven't. It will help us make better content in the future ^◡^
This really is an audio massacre. As a suggestion I'd like to suppose a better option than 2 splitters and cables everywhere. If you are a reasonably knowledgeable streamer or gamer or conference caller perhaps, you'll typically find USB headsets and microphones are most commonly used. IN THAT CASE you really only require 1 splitter to separate a phones output and mic input. Then for 99% of computers you will have two 3.5mm ports. One for Mic in and another for Headphone out. Have your phones output connected to the 3.5mm Mic in on the computer (acting as Line Input because that's all 3.5mm microphones output anyway) and have your Headphone out jack connected to the phones Mic in. This is the fun part, you DON'T NEED OBS to route your audio, use windows sound control panel. Go to recording devices, go to your usb microphone whatever it is. Click the listen tab and enable listen to this device but in the dropdown box choose the '3.5mm headphone out' (not your usb headset). This will send your Microphone audio to your phone. Now back to the recording devices you want to open up the '3.5 mm microphone in' and do the same, listen to the device, and specify either 'default playback device' which it should be on by default or to your USB headset. That is all. And if you use OBS you don't need to add anything to your audio list except your microphone and default audio output which OBS selects by default? And last of all if you have 3.5mm headphones or microphones and don't have the ports in your pc to connect the phone, headphones and mic at the same time. You're out of luck unless you get usb adapters, splitters, an audio streaming app? etc. etc. And people with 3.5mm headphones and mics that CAN plug them all in, have outputs and inputs where needed, route things around as necessary... well same deal. Use windows sound control panel to get the job done.
Hey! Thanks for this solution. We really appreciate it. Don't worry, we didn't say that this video is the best solution in the world. This is just a solution emulating the Elgato chat link. We're still glad we shared this since it did help some people. Also, the majority of the people we know still use 3.5mm headsets. I have a few questions about your solution though, as it's hard to understand through just text. We would want to make a video of this once we have the materials. You had mentioned a headphone out jack in your second paragraph and you were saying connect it to your phone. I thought it was a USB headphone? Maybe I'm missing something about an adapter here? And on the third paragraph, you mentioned using 'listen to this device' then select the headphone out to send the microphone signal to your phone. I'm kind of confused since, in the second paragraph, you only mentioned connecting your phone to your PC through the PC's mic in. Can you really select an input jack as the playback device on the control panel? I've tried, but I can't select it.
@@TwinBin No problem I'll try again with a bit more detail if i can portray it in text because you're definitely right it can be had to understand without a visual understanding but I'll take it in order. It's quite unfortunate that the majority of people you know only use 3.5mm, because even in a laptop with only one headphone and one microphone jack can create a full phone streaming setup if your main audio and mic is through USB. You've made the process quicker with the TRRS splitter though in both situations, that's the key point here and it is essentially splitting up the PHONES 'audio out' and 'microphone in' lines. Yeah you are correct about the 'missing an adapter' part sorry my fault. I'm essentially just saying to use two generic 3.5mm F to M extentions straight to the computer. From the splitter, connect the 'audio out' to the female side of the F/M 3.5mm and the male side to the back of your computer using a 'line in' or 'mic in' jack, and similarly from the 'microphone in' portion of the splitter, this one goes to the 'audio out' jack at the back of your computer. (Or in the case of laptops whichever jacks do which) And your question to my third paragraph. Each device will be listed as something different, i was trying to say in a simplified way that you can 'listen to this device' through a different audio out which you AREN'T actually listening too through your connected headphones which if you set up cables correctly SHOULD output the microphone to your phones 'microphone in' instead. It's just acting as a go between so you can voice chat in your mobile game with your computer headset. And heres a quick google pics link to the setup, I'll delete the link in edit after a few hours just because i don't even know which of my gmails is currently linked to it, maybe it won't even work. who knows (edited out for reasons)
@@TwinBin just to make sure, the headphones and microphones you use can be separate, and anything you want them to be. You just have to determine what they are called and use the 'listen to this device' from the right sources. This allows you to use your solution without even having obs open. And the obs audio settings will only need to have your default audio device and default mic to receive the same sounds when you DO stream

Hello! If you don't need to use voice chat on your phone, that means you don't need to connect a mic to it. With that, you only need to use the male-to-male cable and connect your phone directly to the line-in of your computer. You can listen to your phone audio through your computer. @@TwinBin ok thx im gunna subscribe

@@TwinBin thanks
Bruh my tablet doesnt have an audio port
Hi what if po kung earphones lang gagamitin mo? what to do? please reply po.
Hi. Kailangan mo po ng additional adapter for your earphones. Please subscribe if you haven't. I'm using a laptop with no blue line in. Any fix?
Connect it to the mic and just use a usb mic OR get a usb sound card.
How do you eliminate the grounded noise in the line in?
You can buy a 3.5mm noise filter, but I can't assure you that it will work. The best solution is to group your whole computer properly. Please subscribe to our channel ❤
@@TwinBin thank you!
if my headset is usb type? what can i do?
as in the end of your headset is usb c? Or do you mean you only have a usb c port on your phone?
what if there is no line in audio in audio setting?
Make sure your computer detects the cable you connected to your line in. Try opening your PC's audio console. Usually, there will be a pop up message on the bottom right asking what you've just connected.
What if my headphones have only one jack
you need another splitter for your headphones. If you don't need a mic, just plug it directly to the audio port on the trrs splitter.
my problem is I don't have jack on my phone
Hey! Maybe you can try an adapter for that?
any solution for type C users?
only solution I can think of is use a usb c to 3.5mm adapter, or try SNDCPY.
Bro! Alin ang nag eecho? Voice mo or audio ng phone?
It's the same principle as the chat link, so I think that would work!
a onceeeee lezgo
it says KILLING the server boss? panu po e fixed ? salamat po
On which part po yan?
my phone dont have any 3.5mm port :)
only Type C :(
What model is your phone? If it doesn't have a 3.5mm port, I think that's a newer phone and it might support capture cards. There are a lot of decent cheap capture cards right now.
@@TwinBin Poco F3 bro
how those capture card works?
@@pochaash2 After checking online, I don't think your phone supports hdmi out. What you can do is to buy a usb c to 3.5mm port adapter.
ok
when you have the same phone
does it work with usb type c?
Which is usb type c? Do you mean the headphones?
@@TwinBin no the connector to my phone because when i try doing this only black sreen in showing my phone is poco x3 pro
@@MB-on8qq yes, it should work. The phone on this video has a type c port

@@MB-on8qq i need more details to help you out. Is there a message that appears on cmd?
Did everything as you explained on the tutotrial and it's working fine when I connect
the phone, but when I open OBS the mirroring starts to get really bad, sttutering a lot. When I close OBS, the mirroring goes back to normal. Any tips on why this is happening?
This happens when OBS is open? Even if OBS is idle?
@@TwinBin Yep! As soon as I open OBS, the sttutering starts and when I close it I can actually see like the frames "catching on" with what it's on my phone screen
