My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. Thanks to the author of the channel for this interesting video! Good luck to everyone who studies a foreign language and wants to realize their full potential!

Just bring your childhood cartoon whose events you loved and watch the Arabic dubbing with its translation after learning only the letters. Do this for two hours a day and you will see the results of this after 3 months. I do not advise anyone. Someone learn grammar, it is difficult and it will only make your study difficult

Dear Carol, I would like to express my gratitude for your exceptional work teaching my language. I watched this video months ago and this is the second time. And For those who want to learn Arabic, if want to learn it quickly, in addition to utilizing resources like Carol's videos, mastering the basic structures will alleviate much of the confusion. As in this video, you can notice that the same word is pronounced slightly different depending on factors such as the gender, the tense, or other basic, and easy grammatical rules. While I am not a teacher, and I am not very fluent in English, I believe that if I were learning Arabic myself, giving sometime to these basic structures would greatly alleviate my confusion. Just the basics, don't confuse yourself with the high level structures at first, maybe later. Back and forth between structures and videos like this, you'll progress fast. I hope we hear everyone speak Arabic. The more you learn it the more you appreciate its beauty.

As an Arab myself, I believe that it is a huge undertaking to learn Arabic if your mother-tongue is not in Arab letters or script (Persian-Urdu). And especially if you are older than 25. So if you are this person, you need to join a school and a teacher who will engage you and have a curriculum and properly build it up not just start by saying hi how are you.

The worst thing about Arabic, is that after sweating over all this stuff for years, you will come to UAE or Egypt and realise that you understand very little, and that your Standard Arabic is not used by anyone around you. So you will end up speaking English most of the time, because their English will be far better than your Arabic. The end.

Hi Carol, thank you for teaching Arabic language on RUclips and your website. Your pronunciations in Arabic and English are crystal clear and natural. Besides the techniques you used are really very helpful. I bought Rosetta Stone last week and wanted to start learning Arabic language. I got your video through YT recommendations and found it very interesting and inspiring. Thank you very much. I really love it.

Good luck to all, and as an advice, you have to get yourself used to pronouncing the words in Arabic correctly. In fact, it is a difficult language, but with the will and practice, you will succeed and learn it, God willing.
