One of the things that I miss the most from Peru is its amazing Nikkei cuisine. I am glad that you guys have had this incredible opportunity. I also went to Maido and loved the whole experience as well.
We loved Limo and were happy to get that caliber of Kikkei food in Cusco. Maido is simply unmatched!

Not so far. Are you thinking about going? Or do you live in Peru? We found plenty to do in Cusco even after the additional restrictions went into place.

We planned a 10 day trip on 1/4/2021 but canceled at the last minute (1/2/2021) due to 14 day mandatory quarantine. The airlines we had previous reservations wouldn’t refund and we have been looking for ways to use it up. Thanks for posting videos which are helpful.
What were some of your other favorite places to eat in cusco ? Also how was it with covid ? We’re going there on Thursday!!!
Hi Michelle! Good luck on your trip today, you’ll have a wonderful time. We stayed in walking distance to the Plaza de Armas (main square) and also close to San Blas so we had a ton of great food options. A few that come to mind: Uchu, La Bodega, Kintaro, a wonderful Italian place across from Kintaro, Per.UK, Green Point, Chakruna Native burgers. We also heard great things about Jack’s Cafe, Cicciolina but they weren’t open. Check out our “Perfect Day San Blas” video to see more or our Peru playlist. We never did eat cuy in Cuzco. I'm a little ashamed of myself for that. -Mason
In Spanish, the first word hyphened usually means preference like a father’s last name over mother’s. Nikkei is not Japanese as it’s not acknowledge in Japan. It’s a Peruvian cuisine with Japanese’s influence since it originated in Peru by first generation Peruvian-Japanese citizens. I take pride in Nikkei as a Peruvian!
como te sentirias si en españa comienzan a llamar a la causa "española" solo por que usan jamón ibérico en vez de atún o pollo. O en Tailandés, solo por que alla usan su chille amarillo en vez del aji amarillo. Nikkei es esencialmente japones con ingredientes peruanos, tampoco niegues el origen. No se conocerá en Japón pero es como decir que el arroz frito es peruano solo por que lo llamo chaufa.

Went here last week, honestly it was the worst restaurant we had in Peru. The udon "ramen" had no flavour and was overly salty. The sushi was the worst we had, the rice was old and hard and the fish was not fresh. The sushi was served with a god awful sticky and overly sweet sauce which does not pair with fish. It was like sushi you buy at a gas station. It is not only bad but way overpriced. Service was very slow as well. Please avoid LIMO Cusco at all costs as it is a terrible tourist trap restaurant offering subpar service and overpriced Nikkei food.
