Great dual monitor advice! Few people address this. I’ve been in so many scenarios in which I didn’t have the option for a dedicated guitar monitor… and was always fighting the volume of the whole band from the only monitors available. I will always take two FRFR speakers, from now on! I truly appreciate what you are doing for the guitar/music community Michael
Hi Rosh! I am 11 days into my FM9 and bought a set of Headrush 108s… that was a mistake… boom city! In brief I played with Jcm 800s and 25w greenbacks for years and I was never into any stomp boxes but I thought to give this fractal a try. I know it will never be my half stack but I though I could at-least come close with clarity and a decent sound… I’ve checked so many vids out and the tones sooo much better than what I have. Thanks for any input!
Because my FRFR monitor only takes XLR inputs, not quarter inch. I would need adapters or something. I'd rather just plug into a venue provided DI or bring my own. If you use a DI, the output impedance is returned to normal.
i’ve been a guitarist/singer for 60 years and i’m thinking of trying a modler with an frfr….i just play blues/jazz/roots and i’m nervous about the difficulty of setting up! any recommendations on the best way to keep all the programming to the minimum and simplest?? i’ve heard some others that play the style i do use a fractal and they sound great!! anyway thanks a million❤️🌻

You're very welcome!
Hey Rosh, quick question about stereo effects on the fractal how does that translate going mono from output one to front of house?
You'll only hear one side of the stereo image, depending on whether you plug into the left or right output
Hey Rosh I'm a worship guitarist I have a FM3 and Mann do I have ongoing volume levels challenges
Hey Mark. I would use the scene levels feature in the output block and place them on a performance screen to be able to adjust them on the fly
Why send Output 2 to FOH instead of Output 1? The outputs have different levels. Does this factor into your choice?

What FRFR do you use and recommend? I have a headrush which is ok but not ideal to me.
I use the RCF NX-12SMA. Highly recommended
