Great video, and stunning scenery - beautiful lake! We haven’t had a real snowfall yet in the southern part of Norway yet, so I’m looking forward to the lakes freezing over and that dry cold in the snow. I do however, sometimes find the tent stoves to be a bit on the weak side, even the quality titanium stoves from renown companies. These stoves are really great, lightweight and practical but when night temps creep down to -25 to -30 Fahrenheit, I do find them both hungry for firewood and a bit weak. So for this season I bought a surplus stove from the Norwegian army. Stainless steel and a bit heavy, but I’m really looking forward to the winter now 🥶😊 Again, great to see some winter camping 😁

Don`t worry about the red hot pipe.My titanium stove pipe glows as well as parts of the actual stove top its self .Perfectly safe as long as you respect the space around the stove at all times and i also use a fire blanket to sit the stove on to protect the ground from scorching. Great wee video mate. ATB

Spent a week in my Megahorn for deer camp this year and loved it. The inner tent made a huge difference at night , I could let my stove go out and just fire it up in the morning to dry things out .
So I guess the best place to put the hot tent would be on the sand so it doesnt get muddy like on the location you where 🤔 . I like that you are being honest about the type of camping you make and the comfort you are searching . I see many youtubers camping the hard way but they get cold and dont sleep well , wich is not my idea of having a good time . Thanks for sharing
Totally agree! It also gets better as winter goes on and the ground gets more frozen. I’m a practical camper and there’s lots of camping equipment that will provide comfort and isn’t too cumbersome! Heja, and here you have another tipi style tent which is similar to your pomoly canvas tent or the other pomoly polyester tents. Any thoughts on which brand you like better or what you like about which tent? Thanks again for taking us along to this beautiful spot!
I enjoy both brands to be honest. The Pomoly is canvas as you mentioned so it is definitely different in that regard. The Luxe tent is actually slightly bigger so that is nice! Also the added bug mesh for the Luxe tent is a great feature, and you don’t have to have a second inner tent 👍 both are great tents though! Appreciate you watching!! 😊

Don`t worry about the red hot pipe.My titanium stove pipe glows as well as parts of the actual stove top its self .Perfectly safe as long as you respect the space around the stove at all times and i also use a fire blanket to sit the stove on to protect the ground from scorching. Great wee video mate. ATB

Spent a week in my Megahorn for deer camp this year and loved it. The inner tent made a huge difference at night , I could let my stove go out and just fire it up in the morning to dry things out .
That’s awesome! I need to get an inner tent.
So I guess the best place to put the hot tent would be on the sand so it doesnt get muddy like on the location you where 🤔 . I like that you are being honest about the type of camping you make and the comfort you are searching . I see many youtubers camping the hard way but they get cold and dont sleep well , wich is not my idea of having a good time . Thanks for sharing
Totally agree! It also gets better as winter goes on and the ground gets more frozen. I’m a practical camper and there’s lots of camping equipment that will provide comfort and isn’t too cumbersome! Heja, and here you have another tipi style tent which is similar to your pomoly canvas tent or the other pomoly polyester tents. Any thoughts on which brand you like better or what you like about which tent?

I enjoy both brands to be honest. The Pomoly is canvas as you mentioned so it is definitely different in that regard. The Luxe tent is actually slightly bigger so that is nice! Also the added bug mesh for the Luxe tent is a great feature, and you don’t have to have a second inner tent 👍 both are great tents though! Appreciate you watching!! 😊
its so frustrating when every video you put out the trail cam and your enthusiastic in capturing somehing and you always say the same pharse but nothing ever apperes. i love tjhe way you have a possetive mind set that this time we will cacpture something and i just lmow its not going to happen but i have faith and i bet you because of this comment nect weeks video will catch some thing i dont know what but i am sending you my possetive vibe... just hope ts not a bear :)

We will catch something sometime! I actually have another idea! I will get a second trail camera and put it in the woods and the other point it at the tent. It may increase the chances of catching something 😊
