Working on layout on my pontoon rebuild.... It's a fishing pontoon 24' with fishing seats up front.... I have room for a lean back and 38" lounger Before (Door and Console) do you think that will be long enough to sit comfortable .... I'm thinking you could lay back but would have to bend your legs.... any thoughts would be very helpful
It works for that arrangement if you can do the lean back into the 38” with no arm rest or railing opposite the lean back. That way feet can hang off and it’s still very comfortable. I tell my customers that if they want arm rests on the end they need to have a 55” bench coming off of the lean back. Awesome question!!
Tom I do want to run something by you on my pontoon remodel I do not have place in back of pontoon for ladder because of gas tank (left corner) motor in middle and right ( live well) I have a 30” entry door on left of my boat and a 20” on right side 2 1/2 ft behind the helm chair. I thought about taking door out 20” door and putting a telescoping flip up ladder..do you think this is a bad idea ? This is fishing pontoon layout
@@charleysummers2065 You could also look into one of the removable ladder options for that 30” or 20” door. They’re easy to install and deploy, and that way there’s not the safety risk of having a door space always open. Or even check out the slide out ladder that mounts under the boat in the front (only works for bunk trailers, not center lift).
Not currently, mostly because each boat is so different in terms of seat sizes, railing height and design, etc. If we come up with a way to make them more universal we will definitely share!!

Will you sell the captains chairs?
This seat is long gone by now! I always recommend checking your local Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist for used pontoon furniture.
Where did you get the seat covers?
Hi Elaine, we use a local seamstress here in Grand Rapids. She does a wonderful job.
@@tomspontoons does she take custom online orders?
