BOEING 787 near VERTICAL TAKEOFF and AMAZING AIRSHOW - FARNBOROUGH AIR SHOW 2018 (4K)

- The Boeing 787 flying display during this years Farnborough Air Show was one of the most amazing displays I have ever seen. Watching the B787 Dreamliner doing these stunts was incredible. The pilots were presenting their flying skills to the audience and right after the departure the airplane almost made a vertical takeoff. The following stunts were amazing aswell and they finished the display with a sharp left turn, which was followed by a beautiful visual approach. After landing on runway 06 the Boeing 787 vacated the runway while the Boeing 737Max prepared for its airshow.
My visit at Farnborough was rather spontenous cause the weather looked realy bad till one day before I decided to head to the airshow. The sun is an aviation videosgraphers biggest problem and we had lots of luck cause the sun disappeared just in time.
I will upload more airshow displays within the next days and you can expect a video of the Airbus A350-1000, A330neo, Airbus A400, Lockeed L100 Hercules and many more. Stay tuned. I hope you enjoyed this video and see you tomorrow.

Although I think Boeing planes are absolutely beautiful Airbus makes some amazing flying birds as well. To think how far civil aviation has come since Kitty Hawk is mind blowing. Boeing has blown public confidence in the 737 MAX. I think they’ll get it back but they should’ve never placed profits ahead of safety to begin with.

It's not Bangladesh made, it is built by Boeing (which is an American company), and any country can buy this, no great achievement if you bought it. It's just that Bangladesh is one of the country which bought this aircraft. It is the Boeing 787 which is being appreciated, not Bangladeshi Biman

I see some Bangladeshis thinking that this is an achievement of Bangladesh, let me tell you "it's not". Bangladesh just bought it didn't invent/build it. Bangladesh is one of the countries that bought it, that's all. It is the Boeing 787 that is being appreciated not Bangladeshi Biman. Sorry to lower your spirits but it's the truth, many of you would already know this.

Why nobody positions his/her camera along the runway? Where it woud be possible to confirm this "nearly vertical" takeoffs... Simple: Because they just aren't.
Do you know the professional classification for "Vertical Takeoffs"? Because I assure you it doesn't mean a literal vertical in the sense of nose directly up right off the runway. It is a normal takeoff turned extremely steep, a true vertical takeoff where they soon go perfectly up is only possible with a fighter jet, after becoming air-born. Based on the profile of the airplane's back I can assure you it was a near vertical takeoff.
Bloody Requiem No the word "Vertical Takeoff" is defined by its adjective vertical, which means and only means, a 90° diffrent direction to a given niveau or horizon, even only a few fighterjets are capable of a vertical takeoff, also many are capable of a vertical climb, which is something very diffrent.
For me its ok that the title say "Near vertical takeoff", because we all know its not true and "near" is a vague adjective, but so be correct it must have said very "steep climb".
That is the reason "near" is before "vertical" in the title, to imply the extreme slope of the flight path after becoming airborne; and I did say exactly what you said in different phrasing without the mentioning of vertical climb which, while related, is not what I was talking about. I'm going into aerospace engineering, I would hope I'm being taught what's what.

Cool that you will go for aerospace enginering, I am also currnetly in my fourth semester of mecanical engineering and now have to decide on which topic I want so specialise, I'am not sure if I want to choose aerospace, cause I think it is very theroretical, so maybe producion engineering would be cool. (sorry for the spelling mistakes English not my first language :D)

You are actually right about the whole SUN thing, when it is like noon the sun becomes a HUGE ISSUE, it is RIGHT over my head dude! and when i am filming Dulles Int Airport Arrivlals the sun becomes a HUGE problem while spotting overhead, because see the aircraft is trying to overlap the sun meaning i got to film it! and it hurts my eyes! and when i am trying to do some contrail spotting or planespotting at noon until like 5:00 PM the sun REALLY becomes a problem here, when i hear an airplane i try EVERYTHING i can to spot it, but the sun is so bright it blocks off some of it, i have to look for it under a friken TREE just to even have a CHANCE of seeing the aircraft without eye damage! Atlas Air Boeing 767s depart BWI, they always go overhead or something, it is SOOO HARD to even SEE THEM!!!! i have tried to film them MANY diffrent times, but i have only seen them TWICE!!! one very far away, and one overhead! and at Airshows, dont get me started! i always have to have my eyes DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF MY CAMERA, normally i keep my distance between my eyes and my camera but at airshows i always have to keep it DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF MY camera just to keep the sun out of my eyes! and when i am doing morning spotting inside between 6 AM and 11 AM the sun is rising on my side, i have to be behind a curtain of where the sun is! its really hard! but i still do enjoy Spotting! and always will!

al monsur rabbe The aircraft is flown by TEST PILOTS from Boeing and are not Bangladeshi pilots. Just like the 777's, Bangladeshi pilots are yet to be trained to fly 787. Before that, foreign pilots will fly Biman's 787.

Zooming in on the plane which is performing a near "vertical" takeoff, takes away all perspective of what the plane is doing.
There's no perspective of the angle of attack or height gained.
Beautiful as it may be, it's simply a zoomed in 787.
Perspective: the art of representing three-dimensional objects on a two-dimensional surface so as to give the right impression of their height, width, depth, and position in relation to each other.
