Can we take a moment to appreciate how much the animations in genshin improved? When the traveler jumps in to catch Thoma's vision and then fights the guards it looks so fluid and nice, the camera angles also jumped around a bit making the scene more dynamic.

I mean..1.1cutscenes and even some of the 1.0cutscenese were just as good imo

When Baal says “Next time…. I will strike twice.” I thought that it was a cool little line mihoyo added since lightning doesn’t strike the same place twice, and I just thought that was a badass line. The shogun is making it known she will attack again.

I have my own theory about that-- I think paimon knew that tohma would get out, and maybe even helped! think about it, tohma couldn't get out of the binds himself until the traveler was in actual danger

Sure, he still has some powers despite losing gnosis (which isn't the only one source of his abilities) but at this state he's weaker than an actual Archon, even though Baal is quite young one and Morax used to be one of the strongest of all time. Both him and Barbatos are now no match for fully focused Baal having her gnosis. I think, their lore wise power level is somewhere between Traveler and the Archons

But when I used my second account against her ( my second account is a Hu Tao main ) it only reduced a small amount of her hp, and my Hu Tao is actually well built compared to my Childe.

Technically, the "Vision Hunt Decree" is both a literal and a figurative thing. On one hand, it represents the actual decree but on another hand it's the name for one of Baal's moves, to which the Traveler is immune to.
Of course, I doubt Teppei knows anything about Baal's weird archon magic so it's safe to assume he meant the literal Vision Hunt Decree.

The fact that this chapter start directly to Thoma's arrest and the traveler fighting the Shogun is fucking wild.
In my honest opinion, Inazuma's storyline is already shaping a lot better than Liyue's. No hate on the Liyue main quest, but it felt a bit slow and how it ended didn't quite hit the right notes for me. Hopefully Inazuma's main quest follows the way it's started.

@@punkgothgrlllll937 liyue's quest started off slowly but kept getting better overtime, osial bossfight/1.1 archon quest was their best quest. inazuma however, started off too fast. they literally put their climax in the beginning of their archon quest and (imo) that's what makes it better. dont forget inazuma (kinda) started to stepped into those complicated stuff which is political stuff and dark stories

Gotta be honest, I read that as “bust” at first.
My heart was literally pounding out of my chest when the Raiden Shogun appeared. The fact that she made me scared, especially when fighting her makes me love her even more. I had to face her twice cause I died the first time. Barely survived the second but I got by from tips my friends gave me to stay alive.
**Me casually laughing with him as he completely obliterates the enemies to pieces**
.. The animations are so smooth and detailed. Like, when Traveler was about to get beheaded, Thoma got himself free but then landed on his hands first because he was leaning too far forward. Then, when Traveler bumped into Thoma and was too weak to stand. You can see that one part when Thoma grabbed Traveler's arms to hoist him up. Mihoyo did a great job.

But jokes aside, I don't know why some cinematics are bugging and some don't on mobile but I have the impression that there's less black screens compared to 1.0, idk if they changed anything but it's pretty nice. I only got some black screens during the resistance cinematic, it wasn't all blacked out, it was only the middle.

Supposedly characters with hair that changes to their vision type at the tips/lowest points are Gods, this is based on a pattern that can be viewed in Venti, Zhongli, and the Raiden. So does this mean Kokomi is also a god?
Or perhaps Kokomi and the Shogun are two different sides to Baal. Looking at Azhdaha as an example. Adding to this, it would take more than just Electro powers to create a storm that includes rain and rough waves, surrounding an entire nation. If they are 2 sides of the same coin, the Shogun likely has minor control over Hydro while Kokomi has minor control over Electro(which could be why after the Shogun's troops fled, a lightning storm began).
Or I'm looking to much into it; regardless, she is either a god or example that breaks the pattern.

So far the color changing tips are present in Archons however I wouldn't say it's specifically for Archons.
Hu tao is a good example of this, her hair at the tips turn red and she's associated with Pyro but as far as we know (unless Mihoyo says otherwise) she's just a human. So I think its just an aesthetic choice from Mihoyo. There are other characters where the tips of their hair does change although slightly but aren't Archons.
Now, if they glow that's definitely a pattern seen in Archons.
(Only reason I know this is cuz I was curious if colored tips = archons too!)

She's clearly not the other half of Baal, that's Raiden(Baal is dead and Beelzebub took her place in secret). But I do still think Kokomi is a god, based on hair, until miHoYo says otherwise.

Just wanna put it out here to appreciate Kokomi's VA on her pronunciation of the Japanese words/names.
It's not often we hear an English dialogue with very good pronounciation like this, not that it's completely necessary but it adds the little icing on the cake to the satisfaction of hearing the right sounds. Words like Sangonomiya & Watatsumi can be a bit hard to pronounce but I'm impressed that she nailed them. Even Teppei's name is right considering there should be a slight pause in the middle when saying his name.

Fr I'm so impressed, kokomi's VA did a brilliant job. I feel like I'm attached to Kokomi because of how well her eng dubbing is. Can't wait to know who actually voiced her
I saw that too. In Spanish most letters are pronounced pretty similar to Japanese. So "Sangonomiya" is for example pronounce the same on both languages. When Kokomi's VA said her named I was amazed by how well pronounced It was, basically the same as if I say her name.
