I had a Brittney Spears moment 🙃 due to stress anxiety and slight depression I randomly cut my 3year old loc's they were bra strap length.. and I'm finally have about 2inches of length and found a great braider 😩I'm getting my braids done nxt sat and am sooo happy lol my confidence gets *SHOT* when I'm mistaken for a Sir before they look at my face or body shape

I need someone to grip my twa for some braids
My hair should be this length in a few more weeks. I’m lucky that it grows quite quickly but it’s very needy in terms of care. I got very ill in 2019 and lost a lot of hair but it’s finally coming back to its former glory. I plan to braid it myself.

So did they slip out early I have short hair like that before I go and pay 180
It depends on the stylist. But hers did not slip out.

Two questions, does adding in extension hair create thickness for each braid? and how many times am I suppose to add in extension hair when braiding? To make sure I'm not adding too much hair into each braid. Really hoping to hear from u, thnx. JG.
Hey JG, for each braid, I pre section the extensions to the size that the client wanted and then I move on by parting her hair and then braiding it with the extensions as seen in the video. It’s box braids so you don’t have to keep adding in extensions unless you want it extra long or you’re you’re trying to do the Knotless braids method.

2 months I think
No matter how good your grip is they’ll slide within 1 to 2 weeks not all of them but you’ll get a lot that will slide out because of the hair being so short the Africans did mine and they slid in 1 week some and more and more by month 2 you’ll need to take the rest out and get It redone again until your hairs longer and they don’t slide anymore
She didn’t express them slipping. I’ll have to ask her to make sure.
@@joystouch4904 definitely do that i knew mine would slide she was completely honest with me they’ll especially slide if you use preskretched hair mine lasted longer because she stretched the hair by hand pre skretched hair has a silken texture so It doesn’t grip or hold on to our hair as well if she use regular braiding hair it’s 100% yacky
@@desireeamari5454 She said it did not slide at all. She would have kept it more than a month but she wanted to change her look so she took it out. None of my clients have ever told me their braids come out. I just had to make sure lol
