Hey man, great video! I been running these tires on my 2017 Ford F350 now for a year. I haven't had any issues in mud at my ranch, loose dirt or wet roads. Last winter I had to pull a trailer through the deep mud, no problem. I also keep them around 60 psi unloaded, and when I am going to haul I air them up to 80 psi on the rears. They have been great! I chose them because the Toyos were around $600 more for the 4 x tires. I had a set of Toyos before these and they started dry rotting within 3 years of being put on my truck brand new, so I wanted to try something else. So far so good with the Hercules, time will tell.
Thanks for your honest opinion I’m so glad to hear this. That’s the same for me. I didn’t even have the toyos 2 years ago and they were dry rotting. I use to be able to get 40-50k and no rot. And I love these new tires. I’m so glad I made the decision to buy them. How many miles do you have on yours?
Glad i came across this video. Im having a hard time finding reviews on these tires, guess cause they are fairly new. I would like to run the tis tti on my ram as well, got a good price from my dealer.. so i guess you'd recommend?
I just put maxxis razr m/t on my truck, love them. They're a mud terrain tire but they're really good on the highway. No more vibration or bee type noises. I had cheaper mud terrains on my truck before and I'll never go back. They are rated for 80 PSI most mud's terrains you can only go to 65 PSI and then you don't want to go there. If you're driving in hot weather or on the highway I blow out the cords. I literally had my tire come apart so that when you looked at the truck from the front you could see that the inside edge of the tire was about an inch and a half taller than the outside edge. So there was like a slope to the inside of the truck and the vibration was horrible but before it failed I was getting all this steering wobble and everything under certain conditions and I think it was. The cords were actually pulling apart and I had them air down to 55 PSI but driving to Texas is what killed them from Washington State😅 My only complaint was the tires were about 600 a piece. 😅
Ya I’m curious to see how your maxxis mt wears. They always made a get 4wheeler tire. Never ran them on a truck tire. 600 each that’s step. I still have a lot to do on the truck lol. But thanks for the input. I aired down to 45/40 see how it rides
@@mjgarage1 The thing is is I almost feel like a dual compound lug where the outside of the lug is like soft. So as it's rolling it feels flatter than it actually is, but the middle of the lug still firming off that it can operate as a mud train. It's a neat tire but yes they are rather pricey. I talked to a couple of people that had them. They said they're getting 40k to 60,000 mi with correct rotation etc. I will say this much. I would buy them again. If they hold up to even half that $30 to 40,000 mi I would be happy. I enjoy your channel. Have you ever looked into everythang diesel,
@gsc512 thanks I’m glad your liking my content. Hopefully here pretty soon I can give some free upgrades away. Ya I’ve watched him. He hasn’t posted in awhile. Last I seen he blew his engine. I could have bought another set of Toyos but I figured I was trying to something new.
65psi holy $h!t that’s high I’m at 45-40(front rear) on my 3500 37x12.5r17 Toyo MTs . Empty of course need to bring them up a little for towing. Never past 60 psi .That’s got to be rough riding. Looking forward to see how these hold up.
Well I they usually go down to 61-62 in the morning then they warm up on the road and even out at 64-65. I’ve always been scared to run them lower than that unless I’m off roading
@@mjgarage1 give it a try I run them like that all the time they even have tire pressure tables showing what pressures to run at given weights per tire. CJC off road has great videos showing this and using the chalk test on your tread to see if you are over inflated or under inflated. But 45-40 is a good starting point for these trucks. You will have to use a tool to reset your low tire light on dash. Mine doesn’t have one being a 4th gen.
I just put these on my ram and so far so good
Indeed. What tire pressure are you running?

@patrickbass3118 absolutely 💯. After a few weeks of driving on them and breaking them in. They feel better then my toyo open country mts did.
@@mjgarage1 right on, thanks for the reply! How do you find they perform in the rain?
Any word on how they are in snow?
@patrickbass3118 they do well. Another guy said they do well in snow, but I haven’t tried them yet.

Thanks. So far so good!
Heck yeah, let's buy a mud tire to... Show off on the... Highways 😆
Nice ram. Do you have a link or a video for that dash cover?
I sure don't. I just found one on Amazon
What style wheels are those ?

@@Sdukes001 I wonder if I can use my tuner to reset the tire light ya that’s the thing soon as they go below 57-58 the light comes on
@@mjgarage1 AEV procal give it a try using lower pressures 45-40 it’s day an night difference

You better rotate frequently or those will sing like bird 😂👍🏻
🤣 I’m pretty good at that lol
But you look like and talk like everyone else😂
🤔 thanks for watching
