The Lakes of Lacey: A Walk around Forked River, New Jersey

Being that the skies were mostly cloudy over Long Island, I had to find the sun in New Jersey on this Saturday. This walk is in the hamlet of Forked River, in Lacey Township, and is along part of the Barnegat Branch trail, and shows Lake Barnegat, along with Deer Head Lake. The wind was pretty intense but the lakes were beautiful. And I saw numerous wildlife along the way, and plenty of Big Beautiful Pitch Pines.
