I gave it a deep try today and really dove hard into the setup phase. There's a couple of bugs or quirks that resulted in a miffed plan, but I was able to semi-resolve those issues. There's no doubt in my mind this game is going to be a HUGE real-time tactics game that people gravitate towards. Very deep game.
Damn this game is really thought out and with my time in the military with just standard infantry urban training and security forces training that was alot of good shit. Hell se sounds like he could lead a full platoon of marines through this building
Not sure if you know but in the original Rainbow Six games you had a “plan” mode prior to executing, so you could organise your AI team mates. In that version, you could set yourself as spectator and only have AI run the plan with you doing the go-codes.. it’s exactly like this and DK-2 - was my favourite way to play.. and you then watch it back… awesome fun..
Only me who would actually like to see most of the planning being done and you breaking it down for us? Maybe put a timestamp to where the action begins for those who wants to get straight to that though.
Planning just takes sooooo long. I give you guys the analysis portion in the "talk through," idk how much different or in depth the raw planning would be.
@@ControlledPairsGaming I actually really like you explaining all of the little bits and nick nacks, it is very interesting and when you actually get to the action it feels like it’s an actual climax.
Looking at the amount of time in the video spent explaining the planning of everything helps reinforce how much time and effort is spent in the real world to coordinate operations like this. Cool stuff and keep up the good work.
Although I knew the outcome, I was so tense watching the mission unfold! ^^' Super interesting analysis of the planning once again, I still can't believe you're doing this on my game
Wow this game looks phenomenal. I hope that this type of planning and strategy game grows as a genre I can’t imagine the potential if games got made like this with more detailed graphics
If there was a tournament where actual operators fought each other siege six style (maybe using simunition instead of actual bullets) you'd be my vote as the guy to do commentary for it haha
I'd love to see the actual planning stage. Love this game (even if rarely have mental capacity for it due to disabilities) and find the theory side most fun rather than the actual puzzle.
This video has taught me two things: 1)I'm not a complete idiot and I would do things right 2)I still have things to learn, because I didn't consider some angles you noticed and took advantage of
I realistically I can picture them going in with however many people they can bring without overcrowding / risking blue on blue plus of course support elements externally so only having 6 people here is probably reasonable enough. (plus he would have been planning that mission for days)
@7:00 Outside guy could have given security to one of the breachers before clearing. @9:00 Work the window from the threshold first. @10:25 Two on once side clearing hard corners, another two doing nothing blocked by bodies. No one covering long until after they're in the room.
7:00 - start of sequence, all moving simultaneously. 3 man had security before breach. 9:00 window was worked by snot. 10:25 room was cleared from external. Textbook battle drills 6 followed. Can't help you here, lol. Looking forward to reviewing your run!
Yo controlled pair gaming GODLY content as always!!!!! (just a idea i had if u did a level with only 1 operator as a challenge and see how it goes you dont have to do it though) have a nice day :))
Ok, so I bought the game and have played during every bit of free time I have had. I have even made the leaderboard on a few missions. The game handles ARs a bit rough. I highly recommend picking up a few shotguns for your breachers. Maybe on your FBI run-through...
Any tactical reason that you had your one assaulter run ALL the way around instead of just going to the door that was close to him? In my observation the longer run time seems like more of risk than just going to that closer door (unless you just happened to miss it) Thanks for the great tactical content as always!!
Also since I know you know the developer, maybe ask them for a layer or something that you can turn on that shows all the map that your assaulters have "seen". Simple way at the end, before hitting execute, to have a simple toggle that shows all map that didn't have a view cone sweep it? Might be real helpful for seeing any corners or angles that were missed?
There's already a bunch of predefined cam spots like FPS, 3rd person, attached to the weapon, etc. But you can place the cam wherever you want actually ;)
Well, this is kind of going to be an odd question. And perhaps an unanswerable one seeing how old this video is. But im curious how you got all your guys to simultaniously open the double doors. I cant seem to get that to work in my game. So for example im on a mission with only 2 guys. I keep trying to have them each on one side of the door to open each door at the same time much like you did. So i have blue open his door, then i click on the door symbol on the timeline which i though takes me back to when the door blue is opening is beginning, but at this point when i click on red to now open his side i dont get it like yours where i have both colors of the doors on top of eachother to open at the same time. instead once i order red to open his door, his door icon gets pushed ahead some time on the timeline after blue opens his side. So when i play it back blue opens his door then when its open red opens his. Just curious how you got your two guys to always open both doors on the double doors at the same time if you remember by chance. Im obviously doing something wrong that im just not understanding. Any way, great video. Love your door kickers 2 videos. Not a lot of people playing these games on youtube and i find yours the most enjoyable. even the older ones :D
Single plan timeline. No retries. Custom Kit. Key-framed cinematic replays. Multi-level buildings. Perks. Custom skill tree. Procedurally generated campaign. Play bad guys or good guys. Or did you just see low poly and switch your brain off?
I’ll be honest I have an unfair bias against games that use this specific engine, what is it, poly something? Every cheap game iOS or pc uses this nowadays, and it is an ass art style, I know it’s because it’s free assets and streamlines production but honestly, mpit has no inspiration. No identifying style to make it standout. This is more or less about the engine than the gameplay, looks somewhat neat.
So many close calls there, but your guys handled that beautifully. Nice work

If you like this game, you should try the OG one. Door Kickers
It's not a real time tactic game though

I love how your external security dude managed to get an absolutely great shot with a tiny angle at first, but then missed the really obvious one lol

Put it in 0.25 speed and its a fairly easily visually understood flow of micromanaging the movements.

Those MP7’s were LETHAL!! The M4/HK combo was a definite game changer 💪
Great content. Well thought out plan. You definitely should’ve had like 20 more guys though just to be safe.

This shit reminds me of OG Rainbow Six. I FUX WITH THIS
This video is not what I expected, and it is fire ❤🔥
Would like to see you plan a level on like a call or something just to see what kind of conversations would be had
Excellent content and analysis as always!
Thanks 🤘
Once a banger video, always a banger video! Can't wait for you to tackle the rest of the new maps in DK2 as well(Ambushed awaits, heh heh heh....)
Just purchased No Plan B because of these videos! Keep it up!
Excellent! Enjoy!
This looks cool, the cinematic replay especially

Always a banger watching your videos
Thanks dude!
All right, heading over to Nexus because this rules.
Nice! I've been having a lot of fun in it recently.
but is it better than doorkickers 2, and which one would you reccomend?
It's different. Both are excellent and recommend them equally.
Makes me think of Door Kickers

I'm a big fan of door kickers and door kickers 2 which makes this a good tactical game
Oh wow, have you checked out the different teams you can play? Im starting a robbers team. That is a cool feature
Pretty interesting!
Store seems to have some interesting stuff that you don't get at the start (shield lol), might want to try those out?
Maybe. Shields are weird in CQB and not usually my thing.
it feels like im watching a high level chess match
This is like the most complicated thing ever
There's some depth for sure.
This reminds me of the first door kicker, I hope it take off.
AWESOME!

Hey bro, make this on Rainbow six game! there a old rainbox six you could do this plans.
I’ve never heard of this game before, but you had me hooked. I wanna see if I can get it now. Does this game have a sandbox mode?
It does have a mission builder!
@Controlled Pairs Gaming oh hell yeah
why do vehicles have lines to the building? can you use them to breach?
Overwatch options. The line is the gun to target line.
I've like to feel the raid redemption vibe in this game, hopefully
