Same reason as to why the Kii class battleships are different animals instead of being Kitsune (Kii, first of the line is a Kitsune, Suruga is a Tanuki who pretends to be an Oni, and Owari is a sheep) it doesn't matter. Duke of York's vampire design though has real life lore reasons with the Duke being described as almost as ruthless as the original Dracula. And how the WW2 Duke of York absolutely ruined Scharnhorst.
This skin is perfect for her. Still the shipgirl i oathed the first. I also have HMAS Vampire, Lützow and Emden as well as Hindenburg. Ive a thing for the more inhuman shipgirls. Makes them even better shipfus if you ask me.
The female ships are very rich and powerful, they are paid very high salaries, they are free to control their finances.., they are free to buy whatever they like, they do not have to listen to anyone's orders.. the female ships are also very powerful
